I pre-ordered the 3 set. Wonder how that will look inside a detolf display case? Think it will look too cluttered, but we'll see....Thanks for the pics CC

I think it will be fine. It might be a little cramped, but if the suit is in the armory and Bruce and Alfred are standing outside it you should be fine. If anything you could use the bottom shelf since it's a little roomier then.

Just bought a second Batsuit body with boots and a belt off eBay for $170 shipped. Not bad to be able to have a Bats to display and the suit in the armory.

And finally it goes into the Detolf among my other small Batman Collection.

I have mine in a detolf. Top shelf and it fits great.

Does no one bother to pose their figures to make them look even vaguely realistic anymore?

Gone are the days of MaulFan quality posing.

The whole world has discovered Hot Toys and 1/6 now and it's kind of killed it.

My reasoning behind posing him the way I have him is 1. The suit is very fragile and you can't post his legs that well or you will rip the suit or screw up the leg plating. 2. I wanted to put him in a neutral pose outside the armory. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be too accurate to have him doing kicks and punches across the armory, that would be weird. 3. I don't have a stand for him yet so that limits my posing for the time being.

All true for me to:D

You don't need to have him doing martial arts to create a sense of realism. It's about attention to detail with such things as the gauntlets - ensuring they are lined up and facing the correct way; slight bends at the wrist peg to position his hands; placing his legs a natural distance apart; cape futzing; head tilt. All these things add up and he can stand in a neutral pose yet still look realistic.

Yeah, that does sound a bit elitist. Give advise on how to get the most out of your figures, sure. But there are better ways to put it :)

Finally finished!!! Putting on the clips on the belt was Tensed! Had me sweating trying not to break the damn belt. The only pieces that were pissing me off were the small grappling hooks, they wouldn't stay on.

My only concern is the Crotch Armor piece seems like it will come loose over time :(

Yeah your right I got 3 armory version batmen and only 1 didnt have this problem.
For some reason the crotch plate armour is really loose.
I have 3 dx 12s & none have this problem. I think the DX 12 body is better

Getting a custom cape really makes a difference my friend. :wink1:

The 1/6 Batman figures from this line have always been tricky to pose. I've just looked at what other freaks have done and tired to come close.

I didn't read that way to me. :huh
