I´m new at the forum, I´m about to purchase my first hot toys Batman figure, however I would like to know if you guys recommend the Batman armory full set or the Quarter Scale from Hot Toys also; I know I´m not comparing apples with apples, but I would really appreciate your suggestions.

I think Bruce needs to call his interior designer and cabinet builder back. The armory is missing a drawer for his gloves and cape. Seriously, WTF, can't a billionaire catch a break?

Can't decide whether to keep my alfred and armory set or not. I only bought it because I found a ridiculously good deal. I don't have any other Batman hot toys. The set is fantastic though. Trying to convince myself I can live without a hot toys batman.

I'm surprised they didn't sell out quicker. I missed every chance to get Batman since DX01 so I reserved this one as soon as it was announced. For a short while it said quantities were limited. I'm guessining sideshow either got more than they thought or a lot of people cancelled.

I remember being all nervous when it went on waitlist. Now, I'm kind of just like "eh." It's a beautiful set, and I'd love to get one, but, if there's any Nolan piece I really want, it's the QS Batman. I'm digging this multifigure set concept, though.

I actually just noticed for the first time the other night, in TDKR, when Bruce goes back to his bunker - he's closing a drawer into the wall, which has all of his capes, folded into backpack form (like in the Hong Kong scene of TDK).

I thought it was funny that he didn't take anything from it, but maybe off-screen he did. I remember the backpack, a few pneumatic manglers, and a bunch of small devices, I think that mini-gun-like cannon was there too, and some cases which Fox took one of. Would've been cool to see more gadgets used, I think he only ended up using those darts and the mini-bomb thing that he gave to Blake.

I could be mistaken, but haven't there already been significant discounts on all three sets at Alter Ego, maybe a few months ago?

I think when they initially went on pre-order, AEC had discounts on them. AEC used to have discounts on all new pre-orders, but shortly after they started charging the same price as SSC retail. I remember the 3-set pre-order being in the high $500 range as opposed to $620 or however much it was.
