Wow, just yesterday this thread was almost totally:

"Lazy Hot Toys, easy pass"

It's still mostly that, but now there's a gradually growing change in sentiment.

I think the reason for that is so many of us were hoping for a different figure we REALLY wanted and when they showed us a redo of a previous figure, the initial reaction is resentment. It was for me. I was so hoping for a Ras or, hell even a Lone Ranger, and when I was shown this, I was disappointed. But after looking at the photos more, I am coming around.

That's the plastic crack addiction talking. :lol

Yup. So many people put up a brave front at first, and then it's...

Yup.

These things happen in stages. In the end, this MMS 249 will eventually be old news, with only months old second hands being sold in the marketplace and ebay. At the rate Hot Toys churns out these releases, it's no wonder a figure becomes "old" or a "turd" not long after it hits. There's always something else.

Totally a rumor at this point. But you can get the last DX Joker for around retail, so why wait? Certainly, the prices aren't going to get lower as time goes on.

As far as I can tell from checking ebay listings, there's no way to get the DX-11 for less than $400.

but for real people i contact here in the Netherlands Hot Toys stores and the told me that this Joker never will comes in this Land, so i hope sideshow come with a better price then ebay does

Where? Most I've seen have at least a 40% markup, and ebay has been atrocious.

Yeah, looking at recently ended auctions on eBay, most go for around $350, which is basically initial cost plus fees. On the boards you'll probably find folks selling for less here and there.

And Coleman Reese too!

:lol Sarcasm noted. Seriously though, my avatar is a much more integral character to the TDK trilogy (and Batman in general) than Reese.

In terms of importance, I'd put Fox on par with Alfred as Bruce's moral compass, and I'd even put him right behind Gordon as Batman's crimefighting ally (even though most of his assistance is done remotely--in TDKR, he does put himself at risk to help).

If Gordon and Alfred get figures, surely Batman's Q deserves one too. The problem is, like I said before, he's a "guy in a suit" and it's hard to think of a character specific-prop that is both visually interesting enough and small enough to bundle with him.

How about a 1:6 scale cabinet with a nomex suit. You know for the billionaire, spelunking, BASE jumping crowd.

looking at the SOLD list on eBay i don't see many for $350 or less. most are over $400. one even sold recently at $529. the last one sold on July 1st for $499.you can get a used or missing pieces for around $300-350. but just about all MIBs are $400-450 and some are getting $500 or more.
