Easy answer: cheaper production for a higher retail price and it will sell. Good business.

These things happen in stages. In the end, this MMS 249 will eventually be old news, with only months old second hands being sold in the marketplace and ebay. At the rate Hot Toys churns out these releases, it's no wonder a figure becomes "old" or a "turd" not long after it hits. There's always something else.

Numerous people already said they sold the last one, sometimes more than once, but they're buying this one. Where do they think this will end up 6 months down the line?

You can add and remove the Clown Mask
Its the first edition
One of the legs are broke and I glued it
The figure was assembled by slave labor

The actor got ai** in Broke back mountain

The V1 box was awesome, one of my favorites actually. I hope the new one uses a very similar art work, although this one will probably be like a shoe box style, which is better, IMO.
