This.

It's a good bet this is going to be $275 from Sideshow along with Iron Man Python. To date, every Toy Fair figure has had a uniform price for all three. In 2011 and 2012, all three were $225. Last year in 2013, all three were $214.

Saying this will be as much as the DX 11 isn't that far off. If it is, maaaaan is that ridiculous. :lol Just think about that, a repainted/retooled figure that's a $135 increase from the original V1. No PERS, no deluxe quality, nada. $275! Doesn't surprise me though, if it ends up being the case. Regular MMS will be the new $250 while DX exceeds $300+. Game over.

And because theses are three of their biggest sellers and in all likely hood will sell-out then it will encourage HT even more to increase the prices next year.

I wonder when $300 becomes the normal for MMS and if so many wont have any obligations stumping that up everytime…

Surely there will be a cut-off point for your average collector when these toys become that expensive. To me it is a stupid policy from a company to chase the big bucks but at the same time alienate/price out your bread and butter customers.

Man today sucks -

1 - Unexpected price increase from SKY TV.
2 - A magazine I have collected for nearly 15 years is rumoured to be finishing up.
3 - HT prices rising and rising.

:(

First world problems. All you gotta do is let it go, they're just overpriced dolls you can live without.

If I were a millionaire or a billionaire, raking in mega figures with real-estate, businesses, etc. I still wouldn't pull the trigger on a regular MMS figure at $300. I paid for the ex. DX 11 and DX 13 with Sideshow Rewards Points and STILL felt bad about it.

This is true.

They also seem to be all over the shop recently as well. They rushed out the Crow figure and cut corners on him, they have lied about their Returns line as well as their Prometheus line, their new ED-209 is falling apart and they love them 2.0 re-releases.

You know there's the hardcore crowd on this board that will pay anything for their Joker fix.

Because TDK Trilogy rules and HT is the greatest and what-have you.

Thats the thing. Millionaires don't purchase these things let alone know about them. Some millionaires don't even purchase $2 - $4k televisions.

Even all the documentaries I've seen of F1 drivers in their own houses, they don't even own model cars of their own teams.

Can be said for the most hardcore Terminator fans, Marvel Fans, Star Wars fans, any fill in the blank here ____________ fans really.

Every pop-culture property has a subset of its fans that will eat up every release they can afford...and even some of the ones they can't.

Well if they really do intend to charge that much then they would have made up mind for me. How had this been Ras AL ghoul then we would all be scrambling to pick it up regardless of cost.

Still don't see what makes the predator 275 when a die cast war machine is 10 dollars more

These are pricey also because it's a TF exclusive. I see this guy going for $250 seeing it's basically a rerelease. Eider way, I will get him since I missed out on the first. Nice to know there aren't many new releases I've gunning for, don't think I can hang for too much longer with these prices. DX have already been $300+

The Toy Fair releases in 2011, 2012, and 2013 were exclusive and weren't $275.
