The Hoth Han, which is infinitely better than this guy, will make a fine companion for Chewbacca.

Now I've got an eagle eye on this figure being parted out and hopefully with the head bearing most of the profit, I can pick up the clothes at a reasonable price to put together a custom that shames this thing.

Which head sculpt are you considering using? I was thinking about doing the same.

Don't confuse great photography skills of Para with a great figure. I'll use the best bits from this figure and avoid the bad ones (head and boots for example - I also won't use the holster). When all is said and done, the plan is to have a much better head sculpt with much better paint, similar looking body standing on boots that don't look like they were stolen from a hobo.

So wait? Now when someone takes a great photo of a figure showing that it looks wonderful we have to discredit it. But when someone takes ****** phone pics and the figure looks like ***, it's all hell breaks loose the world is ending the figure has to be horrible?

Sorry man, but that's ridiculous.

Para's photography can make any figure look great. Since I'm not buying a photo, I'll go custom on this one. The head sculpt isn't good enough to hang on my shelf, and I'm not paying $230 for a figure I'm only going to want parts from.

Hey, more power to you. It's your collection, do what you wish, but calling SS Hoth Han sculpt Infinitely times better is pretty ridiculous.

I don't think so. Grove's sculpt is in another league entirely.

I wasn't going to jump on a smuggler Han, but seeing as I have petty much everything else from ANH, I figured it would be a glaring hole, even if I don't know where I'll display him yet. With the relative quality of the other pieces, I thought I'd go the extra mile and make sure the weak spots were taken care of. That means custom Han and custom Obi-Wan (mostly Sideshow, completely repainted, will add HT boots and possibly belt if they're very good). Oh, my current plan is also to replace the head on HT's ANH Luke with SSC's Pilot Luke - subject to the final result of each of course.

Maybe his original sculpt is. Not what we got with SS final product. Night and Day. I'd feel embarrassed displaying that sculpt. Only redeeming quality was covering it up and displaying that way.

And while I haven't gotten HT Han in hand yet, I am trusting the unversal opinion on this one. Is it perfect Ford? Don't think so. But is it worth the money? Hell yeah it is. To me it is.

This is better?

HT will do a Bespin Han. We know it's coming. It will most defiantly be better than any mash up of SS parts.
