I wonder if my waitlist converts could I work something out so that I could still pay through PayPal. Anyone have any idea?

can tell you from my exp. NO. they say PP and their system are not inter-changeable. I bought Han, went on WL for Han EX which converted, (which is what I was told to do by Kristie, and everything would transfer over), emailed & called, and then they could not do it, due to it being PP, or a debit card charge for the EX. It was kinda a mess.

This matches my experience as well. It's a bit of a PITA, but I guess their invoicing system isn't very flexible to allow manual payments from PayPal. If they were willing/able you could just send their email address a direct payment, toss the invoice number into the notes/subject and they could simply mark it as paid in their system. Oh well. I never (not ever) do waitlist at Sideshow any more because of this.

yeah, I did exactly what I was told to do as well via live chat, ordered reg, WL Han EX., then emailed twice after conv., then called, and found out nope. it was really frustrating. I do not understand either, they could slap the same order # on the EX or invoice, and charge me the extra $5, but they couldn't apparently do that. Then had to wait for the Han NRD to charge back on my card. It is very frustrating for sure. So once your payment option is in, that's what your stuck with.

Ugh, yeah you're right. I didn't even think of that. It would blow to get a defected accessory or something wrong with one figure and have to send the whole thing back.

That's disappointing. It's PayPal or no go for me. I guess I'll be going for the singles then. No exclusive accessories for me. I could remedy that in the future if I really wanted to so I'll be alright I guess. Is PayPal still unavailable for pre-order items?

As long as there's a fixed shipping cost, you can use PayPal. If not, then it's unavailable until the item is in stock.
