What's funny is there's probably nowhere in the full size falcon to display a 1/6 falcon. Maybe where Luke did his training.

Given the amount of money I spent on this figure, I find this to be unacceptable. I hope Customer Service will help me out.

I'm sure they will send a replacement boot.

That said it seems like a sorta simple fix, just a matter of moving that wire back into place and gluing that leather strip. If you get to keep the old boot I'd try fixing it so you have a spare and should it happen to the other one in the future you will know how to fix it.

I've had a tentative go at moving the copper wire but it's pretty tricky. I think I'd have to detach the seam entirely from the boot and address the copper that way. Interestingly, it's like the copper wore is too long for the boot. It actually has an S in it down where it pokes out.

Haven't received an email from SS yet but we'll see.

I ordered a 2nd pair of boots from TA last night. Going to work on this pair to try to get rid of the gaps and crappy buckling.

At first I was really upset by this, but now I think it's maybe a matter of shaping the boots. If you look at production shots, the boots had soft ankles...

the boots dont irk me as much as they seem to others, it gives them a worn in look i think .

No one is questioning the wrinkles. Its the caved in ankle that is a result of the long pegs used, that is upsetting everyone.
Yes, you can finesse the boots a bit to reshape but they eventually go back to being flattened out unless there is some type of support inside.
