Super Freak
The people that app matches photos/sculpts up with look nothing like them.
Now I remember all those smart guys saying it was not going to happen....

To be fair, some of those people did not want the third run to happen to have an exclusive head and didnt want to hear people asking Jnix for it.

Ugh... looks like I'll need to buy another one.
Well, to be fair, that "not going to happen" came directly from Jnix, several times.
And here I was just the other day thinking how bummed out I was that I couldn't have a Jnix head for both my stormie and my smuggler Hans. Then boom - more becoming available.
Whatever the people who got the original run heads thought/think (I wasn't one of them - I managed to get an extra head from Jnix long after the runs were closed) the fact remains that Jnix flatly stated there wouldn't be any more Han head runs.
So it's not like it was a "rumor that was spread" or original buyers somehow poisoned the idea of another run... the decision laid with Jnix all along, and he had said no (the sense I got was it was due to burn out on Han heads) but now he's changed his mind and said yes to another run.
Not sure where this "haves" working against the "have-nots" idea got going, but it has no basis in reality unless those original buyers pressured Jnix into not doing another run - and that didn't and couldn't happen.
So don't make out that things inside your head are in the real world when they aren't - it's just toxic talk that goes nowhere (even if that's the motto of Freaks.)
Just a thought...
I'm not sure what the etiquette is on this, but maybe those of you who were lucky enough to get one the 1st and 2nd time around might spare a thought for those of us that didn't and hold off buying another?
This is no doubt going to be a very limited run and it would be nice to see some priority given to us 1st and 2nd time losers...
If there are still some left afterwards then great, but maybe some sort of limit per person should be agreed?
And we shouldn't xpect Jnix to enforce a limit, it would have to be an understanding between all of us to be fair to those who missed out...
As for this exclusivity nonsense, anyone who is buying multiples of this masterpiece for their "exclusive" (meaning "monetary") value with a view to selling them in the future doesn't deserve one at all...
Share the joy... Isn't that what this community is all about?

I've personally never understood this mentality with people. You basically don't want anyone else to have it just so that way you think it carries more weight when you say you have it.
What "exclusivity nonsense" are you talking about? And "limit per person"? Seriously, what the **** are you talking about?
The head is offered, the list is opened, anyone who's interested puts their name down by a certain date, then the list closes. The same way it always goes with a custom head.
Not sure what you're suggesting. "Hold off" for people who are unaware of Jnix's head (or the fact there's a new run) to eventually wake up? If they know about it, then they should get over there and put their name on the list along with everyone else.
The reality is, the people who "missed out" the first time simply didn't know about it (and saw it for the first time when pics were posted and the list was long closed) or chose not to buy it (maybe concerned by how it would actually turn out in-hand, then were surprised how well it came out.)
This isn't like Walmart on Black Friday where there's a rush and the fat guy up front grabs three for himself and the people who happen to be further back don't get any. You understand that?
No "greed" involved here, so no need for the morality lecture.
Were "haves" actually saying this, or was it an assumption on the part of the "have nots"? I didn't get one initially (for weeks after people got the heads and were posting pics) so I guess I would have been pretty sensitive to gloating, but I don't really recall people saying/doing that - maybe some did, dunno.
All I'm wondering is if it was more the jealousy side than the greed side that's created this impression. I mean what were people saying? "I got it and you'll never have it"?
To me it was all simply about whether Jnix wanted to do more. He said no, now he's said yes - "haves" didn't have any control over that decision, "have nots" maybe did because they asked in greater numbers.

A predictably aggressive response... Cool it, kid... It was just a thought, not a morality lecture...
I missed out because I don't spend every waking moment on here and when I did find out about it, I didn't have enough time to rustle up the cash...
That's my problem, and I don't grudge anyone else getting theirs the first time around, but if I miss my chance again because some people want a "Stormie" Han, a "Smuggler" Han, a "Cantina" Han, a bath-time Han and a bed-time Han, I'll be pretty mad... Do you understand that?
And why do you keep stating what you consider to be "reality"?
Frankly, sometimes it is like black Friday at Walmart when something good comes up for sale (must say, I loved the analogy!!), and it's blatantly obvious some people here don't want others to have what they have...
It's clear that you are not one of those people, but if you feel you have to defend them or pretend they don't exist, I'd say you were on the wrong side of the argument...
You ain't the "reality" police, brother...
