Re: Hot Toys – MMS 293 & 294 Batman Returns: Batman and Bruce Wayne (Keaton) Set
Did he portray a playboy, business like guy to you..I didn't see it

No - but that was deliberately done by Keaton and Burton.
In my opinion, the scene with Keaton sitting alone, in the dark at the start of Returns, just waiting for the Bat signal, is the real Bruce Wayne - regardless of any playboy partying, business guy stuff.
To be honest I'm looking to see how Affleck portrays Wayne..I never thought Wayne was represented well in any of the batman films.
Bale..boring as Bruce
Kilmer..boring
Keaton..good, but too serious
Believe or not I think Clooney captured the true fake persona of Bruce Wayne the best..but by far the worst Batman
With that conclusion, Bale showed that nature to Wayne as well.
I thought that was a look at Burton's mindset with having Keaton sitting there in the dark waiting for the signal
I kept thinking man..is he that odd?
But I guess he is
I'm convinced that Val Kilmer was easily the best Batman, but the film wasn't as good as the other ones. He had the best voice too.
My Ranking
Best Batman - 1.Kilmer
Best Bruce- 2. Kilmer
"Chicks dig the car."
"Are you trying to get under my cape doctor."
"Try Fireman, less to take off."
With that conclusion, Bale showed that nature to Wayne as well.

lol That scene was a really true Batman moment where you see that all the business man/ playboy life style is just an act. In his own mansion he's just alone, waiting for his true calling. In the original script and in the novel, after Bruce Wayne see's the Batsignal shining, he smiles.

I know, the dialogue sucked. I mean his first line in the film is, "I'll get drive-thru", but that's not Kilmer's fault though. His voice sounded natural, unlike all the other actors, he wasn't trying to be Batman. He kind of sounded like Kevin Conroy. If you put Kilmer in both the Burton or the Nolan films, he'd blow those guys out of the water...as Batman, not sure about Bruce.

You'd think he'd sit there in the Batsuit to save time. At least have his Panda make-up on.
I dunno, I still think Keaton's Batman has the best attitude.
Haven't seen Batman Forever in a while but I remember this was my favorite scene with Kilmer as Batman. @1:55

Whatever dudes Bale Begins voice is the best.
Keaton had a good attitude and it fits with the films and with the actions of the character in the story, imo. I thought his Bruce Wayne was more likable, but maybe that's because I find Keaton likable. I have no idea how much the performances of the actors in those films had to do with the director and the script, but I don't think Kilmer had the best source material and director to work with. I mean, even Tommy Lee Jones was not at his best in Forever. I still like Forever for what it was, but 89 and TDKT are my favorites.
