Loved K. Conroy in BTAS along with Mark Hamill as Joker, but I wish they would've just stayed in those incarnations instead of branching out to the newer animated films and Arkham videogame series. I know I'm probably in the minority on that, but to me it makes the iconic nature of their respective characters in BTAS less special. I hear their voices in different Batman universes and it don't sound right. To me, Conroy is Batman and Hamill is Joker from the animated series, period. Find someone else to fill the roles in those other incarnations. People have such a hard-on for those two they will not accept anyone else voicing Batman and Joker.

They do the same with Hamill as the Joker...there must be a thousand memes of why Hamill "IS The Joker"...while the others actors are fakes He has a nice voice...that's pretty much it, imo



Never seen that episode, and I've seen a lot of them.

Loved K. Their next project is The Killing Joke animated film, and I hate it. It's one of my favorite books, and the last thing I want is to associate it with the animated series. I like the show, especially when I was a kid, but I wanted some new actors to play those roles in the KJ film. I thought Peter Weller was great as Batman in The Dark Knight Returns film, so that shows that there are other options other than Conroy and Hamill.

I'm 43 and Adam West is still Batman to me, he created a life long love of the character. Keaton was great but Burton took to many liberties with origin stories for me to accept that version even though I wanted to. I still haven't seen THE Batman in live action on screen, nothing has been definitive. It all has to be right, Gotham has to look like Gotham, Batman has a cave with a giant penny and Robin is a big part of the legend.

But I think this is the character that sealed the deal for Dini to consider Hamill to voice Joker

Of course people worship the stuff the grew up with. It's always been that way. Star wars, superman, batman...people who grew up with that stuff will generally always adore it compared to whatever new version comes, regardless of the quality of it.

I wonder if they show it graphically violent like in the comic with her getting shot in the you know what and crashing head first backwards through the glass table with her screaming and bleeding in pain.

They might just have her shot in the waist and she just falls to the floor

I usually spend hours futzing with figures, but I just could get this cape to look good. Took the wires out and finally gave up. I'll just wait to see what Tony Mei cooks up for this figure.

For now, not super impressed and barely worth the long wait it took for this figure to come out. Interested to see what sort of mods or customizers offer for this figure.
