I don't know why Hot Toys continues to make their skin so ****ing dark. I was shocked when I took Hot Toys Marty out of the tray and saw how swarthy he looked. Do they not understand fair skin, Caucasian? Either they're oblivious to how the factories churn these out of their skin paint effects like the freckles and blends over do it.

I'll be experiencing the Keaton head sculpt in hand. I was going to just get the single like everyone else, but I had the rewards points and decided to go with the two-pack since it was free anyway. I'm assuming I'll hate the Bruce Wayne and tux so I'll probably just sell the body, clothes, head and base, but keep the torn cowl just in case there's a great Keaton sculpt in the future, we'll see.

The skin colour thing is really starting to bother me too now that I have figures from other companies on my shelf the Hot Toys stand out like a sore thumb. It's fine for Terminator or Indiana Jones, even Thor but Marty is so dark he definitely doesn't look white. It's really off putting and is making me reconsider the Part II Marty, should that ever be released.

My HT Obi-Wan surprised me by how dark his complexion was too.

It's hard to try to put him in dynamic poses because of the limits in articulation so I try my best

Exchange rates are getting bad for us Canadian residents. Having said that I am looking forward to bookending my HT collection with this beautiful piece.

They do the part though. You don't want to risk a tear in the suit. Mine when I get it, will go into museum pose indefinitely. I really don't like to mess with DX09 much at all. But I did try using it's cape rods once.

Good question, I wonder if it also matters if you pre-ordered day 1 or awhile later? I pre-ordered the set a couple weeks after u could and I haven't gotten anything from SS yet.. Fingers crossed soon!!

So when you get this notice, what information does it give exactly? Never bought from SS directly and am curious if it says when it will actually be shipped or if it's more a heads up to finish paying if you haven't already..
