Any turn or crunch of the torso has an awful looking effect on the suit so yeah, posing is out.

That's why the ratcheted arm design is key

Yup, since it can't be about the articulation and posing this time , it has to be about details in craftsmanship in design and the cowl

This batman turned out beautifully. Yeah, a shame you can't pose him for ****, but who cares.

And thanks Rory for reassuring that there's absolutely nothing wrong with the stock cape.

Can't wait for Brazilian Keaton.

So opened the two pack up. No QC issues thank christ. What a beautiful figure Batman is.
The eyes as others have mentioned are pretty beautiful, as is the cowl. Surprised that the suit is soft rubber, thought I had heard it was gonna be some kind of vinyl.
I will go against the tide of custom cape posts here and say that I think the cape is pretty great stock. It feels correct for Returns, the way it stands out from the body a little. I have had several of Tony's capes so not knocking them at all, but just to say I think this is very good stock with a little futzing. Belt is the perfect colour gold/yellow.
Negatives? Pose-ability is non existent really. That's it. The Keaton figure is very nice, you can actually see Keaton in there from some angles if you look right.
Skin is very dark, he looks Brazilian. Likeness is obviously off, but not annoyingly like the proto. Suit is very sharp though. And he looks very cool with the torn cowl.

I don't know why Hot Toys continues to make their skin so ****ing dark. I was shocked when I took Hot Toys Marty out of the tray and saw how swarthy he looked. Do they not understand fair skin, Caucasian? Either they're oblivious to how the factories churn these out of their skin paint effects like the freckles and blends over do it.

I'll be experiencing the Keaton head sculpt in hand. I was going to just get the single like everyone else, but I had the rewards points and decided to go with the two-pack since it was free anyway. I'm assuming I'll hate the Bruce Wayne and tux so I'll probably just sell the body, clothes, head and base, but keep the torn cowl just in case there's a great Keaton sculpt in the future, we'll see.

I love these games, guess someone's age by just their hands. you are either young, like in your mid 20s-early 30s or you moisturize your hands daily and are like in your mid-late 30s.

Intl collectors go the HK route (timcent on eBay) because it ends up being cheaper than SSC.

Impatient, US collectors do that too, but that's stupid. Just wait for US retailers to get their stock.
