Just my preference :lol what's up with hoods in SWs.

Is it the equivalent to straw hats during the edo period for Samurais to hide their identity?

I always thought it was taken from how monks wore them, kind of a symbol of how deeply the Jedi/sith are tied to their religion (the force)

Quote Wookipedia:

It has long been hypothesized that the first known Jedi came from Tatooine, and as such, wore loosely fitting robes made of low quality fabric. This gives insight into the current state of the modern Jedi apparel. Since he came from humble beginnings this Jedi did not think twice about his outfit and all Jedi that came after him followed in his image.

This eventually became vital in the long standing tradition of new Jedi being sworn to a life of modesty and humility. Jedi were raised their entire lives without possessions except for a lightsaber. Since they were given what they needed and their desires were controlled, most Jedi wore traditional yet simple Jedi robes, not feeling the need for fancy and outstanding outfits. The simplicity of the Jedi apparel was in many ways symbolic of the selfless compassion that characterized the Jedi Order.

Qui-gon did it right. He checked out while he was still young and had his looks. I bet he is a stone cold pimp with all the female ghost jedi.
Poor yoda and Obi look ready to spend eternity playing shuffleboard together. :lol

:lol Not sure if that would be a good thing tho, they would probly still be old and he would get a lot of this....

I was there on the Death Star standing next to Vader to welcome my apprentice Obi-Wan into the netherworld. I sat in Yoda's hut next to Luke and watched him become one with The Force before he joined me in the afterlife. I watched Vader take his last breath before Anakin joined us on the other side....

Great piece of art. Feels good knowing Qui-Gon was there through it all. :)

Well I am basing my theory that the great Jedi purge took place and most died young. If that is still part of the canon...:rotfl

Did all the Jedi learn the path to immortality? I thought it was a secret Qui-Gon discovered and passed down to Yoda, and then from Yoda to Obi-Wan.

Yeah, only 4 have achieved it. Plus one Sith who may have been resurrected...

And I'm going to need my Kylo like this with the hood up. Fear factor is off the charts. I love that scene in the Takodana forest. The initial scene on Jakku is really good too.

All these people who hate Kylo and have deemed him emo trash must have gone to the bathroom every time he used The Force.

Just look at that skill and ferocity. And the mofo is strong....That opening shot where he stops the blaster shot blows my mind every time. Its literally in mid-air for five minutes (I've seen it 3 times in 70mm 2D IMAX).

And then "Traitoooooooor!!!!!" is just riveting. The way he dispatched poor Finn...even when Rey got the upper hand he was still mesmerizing onscreen.

Again, when I hear "Kylo Ren was a whiny *****." I just shake my head and remind myself the world's gone to ****.

If I were to buy this figure I'd probably display him with the hood up.

Honestly, Wookieepedia is so full of **** sometimes...

But the scene where

the Stormtroopers shun him when he's throwing tantrum was funny as hell. :lol

I do wonder sometimes what happens when an entire generation bases its knowledge on information its own people may have put in incorrectly to begin with, then everyone spouts off the same misinformation. Do they care if they don't know? Is truth only relative to its usefulness?

I guess in the end, that's how history is written. By the winners. So is it really true?

It was. See, I loved the two tantrums. They showcased his rage. His passion. Powerful tools for a Sith. "That lightsaber belongs to me!!!" The way he says it. Its not even that he's upset. You see the obsession in his eyes. He wants to achieve Vader's power.

I want to get this version, but will wait until there's (hopefully) a coupon next month. Gambling that he won't sell out by then...

I suppose I could wait for the portrait version, but I'm fine with just the masked one. It's badass.

Vader's show of rage induces fear, Kylo's was just childish and made people dislike him. I hope there's a growth with the next 2 movies, if not he'll just be a whiny kid for all 3 movies. :lol
