I suppose I could wait for the portrait version, but I'm fine with just the masked one. It's badass.

Hot Toys should do what Big Chief Studios do and offer an extra head separately as an expansion pack.

So your interpretation of a scene where he pulls out his lightsaber, destroys a wall of computers and then choke/pulls a guy to him as a tantrum? And you think he's whiny? You must have thought Vader was a pissy little ***** in ANH then. Because he force choked someone for being sassy with him. Talk about an emo little baby.

And Wookipedia is a fantastic research assuming the person using it realizes pages often have both a Canon and Legends tab. Pulling goofy EU garbage from the legends tab is the guy clicking the mouses' fault.

Really don't get why people call him whiny. He is young, unstable and angry (which is cool since he is dark force user). Nothing wrong there. And i hope he will be more pi**ed off in the next episode with that scar on his face and burned leg and arm

Vader's show of rage induces fear, Kylo's was just childish and made people dislike him. I hope there's a growth with the next 2 movies, if not he'll just be a whiny kid for all 3 movies.

That's just it though. He's trying to become Vader, but he's not.

He's too young and new to earn that just yet. However, for what he is, Kylo Ren is pretty intimidating. He will only become more like Vader as time goes on though.

Except, unlike Vader, he will not attain redemption. It wouldn't fit the story, in my opinion, and it's already been done.

So were a lot of things that happened in TFA That doesn't make it bad, though. I loved the film.

But I think there's a high chance of seeing Kylo at least somewhat redeemed by the end of Episode 9.

Pretty much what I was thinking too. So far, the way he's depicted feels like it's meant to contrast Vader, and it wouldn't surprise me if this will also apply to his ending.

True, but in relation to the character arc, I don't see them regurgitating the same "rise, fall and redemption" routine in the new trilogy. Not with Kylo Ren anyway.

To put it into perspective, and this is obviously a SPOILER...

Darth Vader only really ever killed one person close to him. However, the divide between Obi-Wan and Vader was too far gone at that point. That's not the case for Kylo Ren. He struggled GREATLY with it and is now scarred forever. He already had serious baggage beforehand, but now he's just going to be ****ed up.

Anakin also choked Padme until she was unconscious (and broke her heart too). Not good especially for a pregnant woman. So i count it two persons close to him.

What. You have much more confidence in Hollywood than I do. I am sure that in the end he will predictably see the error in his ways and redeem himself . This is the product of predictable and stupid Hollywood afterall.

Idk about shunning him in that scene. The scene is really funny, but I've seen it 3 times and each time the troopers seem more like "oh hell no" when they hear Ren. They're not embarrassed of him, they're terrified and don't want to die.

Ren has a furious temper.

But chances are they'll do a completely redone figure with snow weathering on his boots and outfit like the Black Series figure and call it Starkiller Base Duel version. Could come with 2 heads, 1 clean and 1 scarred. And I would honestly buy a second Kylo fig.

Kylo Ren had every intention of killing one of those closest to him, even if his good side struggled to the very end. The fact that he succeeded in his plot only serves to engrave the Dark Side further than any Jedi turned Sith we've seen in the films, despite a younger Anakin slaughtering countless people before donning his life support. This alone makes Kylo Ren irredeemable in my eyes.

I think it is Snoke's ultimate goal, but I hope Kylo realizes it and kills him first.

That video isn't worth a watch because those theories are large amounts of dumb. Anyone who thinks Snoke is Plagueis should have their internet privileges revoked. Phasma being the mom is not even worth an adjective. The Plagueis people are the "Maybe Sidious isn't Palpatine" of the new trilogy. In the worst way possible.
