I was always curious how Vader's wife died, so I'm glad I know now that she just... gave up.

I really hated that part. Every other source material points to her neck really being crippled by the force choke (and the medical droids being to stupid to realize that), so making the whole "will to live" as the main point of her death felt like needless melodrama.

I think palpatine had something to do with it. How else would he know that she died at that moment? "It seems in you anger, you killed her." He must have used some of his masters teachings on how to give and take life. Palme died the moment Vader was reborn.

You sure do cry about the PT, don't you. I agree SNIKT, his hate is exhausting and irritating. Nearly every post from him has been to bash the PT. I feel sorry for his addiction.

Heartbreak is a real medical condition by the way. Happens all the time.

OMG, I'm in a gangbang. :lol

You two are exhausting as well. There, are we all even now?

I didn't find any of the helmet variations in the art book topping the optiom selected for Kylo. Unlike Vader, Kylo didn't need the helmet and the other designs were needlessly complex.

I have to check out that art book sometime, I love the helmet design they went with for Kylo and probly would prefer it as well.

I had a funny conversation with my 21 year old son on our way to see TFA for the 3rd time. He made the statement "I loved the Phantom Menace!". I kind of chuckled, because while I am one who enjoys the PT, not sure I'd gush my enthusiasm for the film that much. Then I realized that he was 5 when I took him to see the movie for the first time and while he had seen the OT, this was his introduction to the Universe on the big screen. So, it's all a matter of perspective.

I'll let you guys sort out who's exhausting who, but just thought I'd share an interesting twist to the PT discussions...

TPM & AOTC are weak when compared to the OT. ROTS is a damn good film. TFA was excellent.

^that's a normal assessment of the saga.

The annoying elitist opinion:

-ANH was a masterpiece.
-ESB was just as good as ANH.
-ROTJ was ****.
-TPM was super ****.
-AOTC was utter ****.
-ROTS was stupid ****.
-TFA was a fanboy film for fanboys starring the emo offspring of Han Solo.

^I read that **** online all day.

I agree, some of the designs were downright awful. I think they made a good choice with this one. I also like how they incorporated the German WW2 helmet design into Ren's.

I'm 34 and I grew up with all the OT movies I had a lot of the toys and loved Star Wars from the get go, my first daughter was born the same year the phantom menace came out, and I can honestly say that I loved it. Ya it had jar jar and medichlorians which I hate, but it also had something that I had wanted since I was a kid, Jedi/sith in their prime and modern special effects. It also had two characters that became instant favorites of mine, qui gon and darth maul. As a big Star Wars fan it was awesome to get to see Jedi and sith using powers and sabers like I imagined they should as a kid, so that movie is cool in my book. I get crap all the time for liking it but I don't care I love the modern effects and proper saber fights and the duel of the fates is still one of the greatest SW scenes ever made.
