Do you think Luke froze R2 at that moment, because the way he touched R2

Probably not, I'd guess that scene was where Luke decides to go into hiding and have R2 stay behind etc.

It was confirmed from the writers guild that in the script there was a burning temple in the background of the sene with luke and r2! So there there thinking ti was when kylo destroyed a temple were luke was training new jedi! Only the temple burning was confirmed! They did not say what type of temple it was!

That was a flashback of when he said goodbye to R2. It has been confirmed.

A question here: Is Kylo Ren's crossguard lightsaber more powerful than the traditional lightsabers? Or at least able to cut through objects faster since it needs two vents to handle the power.

I think it's purely an aesthetic design choice. Looks more like a traditional sword like this and befitting a knight.

The Visual Dictionary has a cross-section of it, and it does explain it some. It seems like it has a cracked Kyber crystal at its heart, which accounts for the ragged appearance of the blade and the need for the exhaust ports that become the quillons. It's meant to look like it was built by unskilled hands (thus the exposed wire) and it's based on an ancient design thousands of years old.

R2 was not frozen/hibernating till Luke left. It seems like a past vision more than a future one either. As some confirmed it was a past vision when Kylo went bad.
