The only time she saw the future was the forest on Starkiller base. The Luke and R2 scene is, I'm willing to bet, when Luke is at a funeral for/or burning his former student's bodies and he's about to leave R2 and go into hiding.
The Knights were all with Kylo and he was leading them against the siege on the New Jedi Temple.
Yes. One is a Sith and one isn't. The Sith is basically a specific religion of Dark force users.
And yes the Knight scene was a past vision.
As I understand it, The Sith is a specific counterpoint to the Jedi but past Vader and The Emperor there were no Sith left (ignoring the EU stuff) and just like the Jedi, a Sith must be specifically trained and where they differ from The Knights of Ren is that they are being tutored in the ways of the Dark Side from Supreme Leader Snoke, not from a Sith Lord at all and so there are variations and changes within the same ideals which leads to Ren not being as strong or focused because it isn't "classically done."
We know that "Ren" is a title similar to "Darth" but past that it seems to be "The Dark Side Light" because even from Snoke there seems to be less of a mastery and more of learning from someone who kind of knows what they are talking about. It feels like the difference between learning woodworking from a master carpenter or learning from a relative who is handy.
JJ Abrams said:
J.J. Abrams has confirmed to Empire magazine that “Kylo Ren is not a Sith. He works under Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis), who is a powerful figure on the Dark Side of the Force.”
Instead, Abrams recently told Entertainment Weekly, Kylo Ren is part of a different faction altogether. “He is a character who came to the name Kylo Ren when he joined a group called the Knights of Ren,” Abrams revealed, admitting that the character’s mask is reminiscent of a certain Sith lord’s for a reason. “The movie explains the origins of the mask and where it’s from, but the design was meant to be a nod to the Vader mask. [Kylo Ren] is well aware of what’s come before, and that’s very much a part of the story of the film.”
The lack of a "Darth" even on Snoke would suggest that he is powerful but not a Sith Lord himself (unless he went The Emperor route and renamed himself) and this is a sort of side-faction. I'm sure we'll get this investigated further as the series continues and there is no doubt in my mind that Snoke will get a showdown with most likely multiple characters in this
