I just got a charge notification for this guy for Jan 26th. I was really starting to wonder.

Same although I kind of like to see how HT would do his HS.

My delema is that I'm not sure I want this version because I have a feeling HT will make a unmasked version.

Also I think Kylo will look different in Ep VIII but because now the Rey includes the saber, you kind of need Kylo to duel with her

You are not alone. I'm not sure why people would want the sculpt but to each their own. I am still really surprised that they revealed his face in this movie. The mystery of the character should've been built up more. We didn't see Vader without his mask until the second movie and even then it was just the back of his head, but it was great for building the mystery around the character of Darth Vader. I think this was a huge mistake on Force Awakens.

However, I can see why they would do it for Solo's sake, knowing his fate in the film. When confronting Kylo one on one, it'd be natural, and more dramatic for the viewers, to ask (as he did) Kylo to remove his mask so that way he felt he was talking to the face of his son and not his alter ego. Not sure if Solo's fate was entirely the reason why they unmasked Kylo in the first film of this new trilogy, but I would suspect it at least played a part.

I agree. They really needed his mask off for the gangway scene to work.

I'm happy with this release without the sculpt as I want to display a fully suited up Kylo. It would have made more sense to include melty vader with this release though as he has his mask on in that scene. When they release the next version I'll look at that package and assess accordingly.

Yea, I agree with you. Though personally I actually liked the scene where he took it off in front of Rey during the interrogation. It was actually kind of a ballsy move and I was surprised the filmmakers actually did it. And IMO Driver nailed that scene.

I just hated how after that scene he basically didn't put his mask on for the rest of the movie. Kind of killed his intimidation factor.

I'd of used the Driver sculpt if they had included one. I wish they would have but I'm content with having a masked Kylo. If they ever release a version with an unmasked sculpt I'll snag it.

1. Adam Driver never would have done the film.

2. Kylo Ren is not Vader. He doesn't need the mask. What's compelling about him is his choice to reject his family, something Vader couldn't do. There's no mystery to him nor need for it.

The storm trooper gear looked awful with the F.O. Helmets
