It's a prototype that I'm guessing was assembled rather hastily; I believe that's a bit of glue on the visor. Not only that, it's beginning to log some serious miles going from convention to convention.

But that's beside the point. It's Kylo Ren and he sucks.

My “mantra” for Hot Toys is purchasing details and realism in head sculpt and tailoring that cannot be captured in 7” line figures (i.e.. Jack Sparrow, DX 13, Bead work in Elder Predator, Heath and Nicholson Joker, Chewbacca’s fur). These new SW figures like Kylo and Stormtroopers really lack detail and can be captured in 7” scale. No need spending $300 CAN here.

Agree, it's been whored out by Lucas, but that's nothing compared to what Disney will do! It's like comparing a hand grenade to a nuclear bomb. That's why I said "ultimate whoring out of Star Wars".

Rumour has it that baby Anakin has a scene after the Battle of Naboo. Standing on a beach waiting for his surfboard he looks into the distance and says,

"I love the smell of Gungans burning in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' Gungan body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like victory..."

"Brainwashing" you say? This is in my two year old daughter's room haha
