Bale as Bond....now people are taking in loonacies. Bale is great as Batman but can't hold Craig's jockstrap.

Yeah, but many said the same about Craig (as opposed to Connery) before Casino Royale released.

Bale could definitely give a great portrayal of the grittier Bond.

I just can't see Bale as Bond no matter how good he is.....sorry.

No, but I can see Nolan doing a Bond film with an older Christian Bale as Bond. But his name is too big nowadays.

Dude, I know we all love to live in Cali for it's relaxed lifestyle, but you have to stop smoking such copious amounts of weed! Cut back on that pound per day my good sir. :D

Grittier.... WTF??!! If Craig was any grittier as Bond, he'd be one of the bad guys!

He may not have the sterness of Craig, but he would have the charisma of Connery.

Just my opinion but Connery is a firm number two with the Bond business with Craig standing firm at the top. So Bale having the similar aspect as Connery still makes him a nice first runner up to what we already have.

While we are throwing out odd choices for Riddler... Robin Williams. Mhmm. Would be interesting. Maybe Eddie Izzard. I'd rather see Catwoman though, give me a nice looking actress as a jewel thief ripping off mafia bosses, something along those lines.

Eddie Izzard as Catwoman? No thanks.

The relationship between Selina and Bruce was the best part about Batman Returns - I'd like to see that revisited, but in the more reality based/less mentally damaged realm of Nolan's Bats.

Honestly, I'm probably in a minority on this idea, but based on my concept of the Riddler I've taken from the Adam West show, the 90's cartoon and Forever, he doesn't feel like a villain that could exist in the Batman world Nolan's created, I think it would almost feel rediculous for someone to commit crime in that manner. As much as Joker is bizarre, based on trailers and clips, his crimes are no different than any other mobster and such, just with a slight twist of insanity. I think of core Batman villains, Two-Face, Catwoman, and possibly Penguin are the only others that I'm aware, which could fit in Nolan's world. Catwoman is essentially a femal Batman on the other side, Two-Face is a tragic figure but primarily a normal human being doing normal actions, and Penguin is really more defined like Joker, he could be a mobster that just has quirks that make people think of penguins. Riddler just seems to rediculous, good for comics, campy TV and cartoons, but not Nolan's world. Again though, I don't follow Batman comics so maybe there's a side to Riddler that would match with Nolan's world and could work.

Essentially The Riddler could be played almost the same as The Joker only leaving behind Riddles instead of Joker Cards. The Riddler could actually be done with little effort the thing is that most mediums portray the Riddler as campy or over the top. Loeb's HUSH storyline had The Riddler as a behind the scenes puppet master and the entire thing was a Riddle to get back to him as the originator.

It could be done easily into Nolan's world. Its villains like Killer Croc or Mr. Freeze.

Well that's why I posted my sources for who the Riddler is because he was campy in all of them and without some idea of how he could be a Nolan villain, the idea held no appeal. I'm all for keeping things to Two-Face in part 3, I think if done right that can be a very compelling film just between Bruce and Harvey.

Yeah, Riddler has become a much more serious character the past few years. And now he isn't even a villain.

Found the perfect suit for the Bruce Wayne head! Perfect timing Saturday Toys!

Not a great likeness, but it's a definite from the profile.

That's a good one. I'm already hunting for Bruce suit too. I think I may want to go with a Navy Blue pinstripe though. If I can find one. I may go for one @ Toystore.

That Black suit is nice... white shirt, red tie. Nice.
