Comparing photos now, I do see a tie difference.

Either the lighting at the current show brings it out more, or they've worked on the pattern to bring out the darker part of the pattern as well, where the other shot, only the light pattern really stands out, like the v1, and the tie looks half assed.

Billy's is still better, but at least for those that can't get it, the HT one looks better than the v1 version.

Well I've ordered one set, for DX Joker, the v1 body is going to be used with my Les Joker head as a custom version, but it's nice that the DX shirt and tie will likely be improvements, so even the second figure of mine will look better than it was going to.

You can really see the difference in this close-up pic:

I think the overall shape of the tie that Snake talked about can be fixed in-hand. So I'm not worried about that. It just sucks because the tie looks like it's been changed and the Cop Joker hat has definitely changed (Badge from Police to GCPD) but nothing else. So is that about the extent of the modifications!?

Suspenders may be corrcted, they're not visible. I can't imagine the fact that the tie and hat are small makes a difference in getting them out on display, but who knows, they've got the BD Marcus Wright on display with the old BD head for some reason, so maybe we'll be lucky and HT is just sloppy with display pieces.

As long as the purple coat is like the proto or better, I'll be ok.

From those pics the cop joker looks like total poo -nothing like Heath Ledger at all. But, I am only getting this because I didn't have a Joker in my collection. I don't care that much about the cop figure. I was planning to sell it anyway.

I really don't understand people not seeing ledgerin the cop Joker sculpt.

He's there, but the cop Joker isn't going to look like heath ledger with scars on his face.

As I said before, his whole forehead looked different, due to a prosthetic brow piece

prosthetic brow piece?? What's this?

Correct Mollins:

The Joker make-up was composed of three pieces of stamped silicone, which took less than an hour to apply to Heath Ledger on each day of shooting. Ledger described it as "new technology which is much quicker to apply than regular prosthetics"; he felt he was not wearing any make-up at all.

BUT..

Ledger only has those three pieces (forehead and cheek scars) when he's in the clown make-up, not the Cop outfit because that forehead piece is only used to accentuate the forehead lines with the clown make-up on. Look at pics of Ledger in the Cop outfit..

His forehead is smooth. So basically yeah, it should look exactly like Heath just with the cheek scars and some darkeness around the eyes.

I'm going to have my cop face repainted. It's hard to tell, but if you look at his neck and face in the stills you can see his face still has a hint of white on it. It's really faded and looks as though he literally just wiped the white off his face and there's some residue left on if that makes sense.

Yupp, can definately see that. Always noticed that when watching the movie.

Makes sense too with the dark remaining around his eyes.
