thats a crappy situation, but man, that looks like the easiest thing to fix. its just string... take a good look at how it should look, and i bet you can fix it up no problem.

if you end up getting a replacement instead, id love to take this one off your hands i could use some extra grenades.

I would think you would be able to find a replacement. I know a few here have stripped the grenade straps out of their DX overcoats, so they wouldn't be using the grenade rig.

Like others said, if you don't care about having a MISB, repaired grenade rig, that should be pretty easy to fix.

First, tie the threads back around the rings. Then, for the rings that have separated from the grenade, I would think just the smallest dab of superglue would re-attach them.

The way i look at it is that hot toys would have used glue to put those ring's on the grenades in the first place so nothing really broke i would not class this as damaged, it happened to me and i just re-glued them back on.

it also happened to me more than once i have 4 of the dx jokers two had grnde rig broke on me and 3 had pers broke

Up until this point I had not tried to repair any of the damage myself but this morning I had a go.

Although I can retie the cotton string back to the pins, It's pretty much impossible to secure them back onto the grenades because the plastic rings are snapped

Also, It looks like the braid/plat on the upper part of the Grenade Rig had come loose as well and the cotton string seems to be falling apart.

I am prepared to pay $70.00 for the Grenade Rig. But only because this really effects me not having a complete display.

Hope someone can help?

Hi...sorry if this has been discussed before but what would be the best body to get for the police officer costume? I bought the DX from someone on the boards and they included a body, but the clothes do not fit well...they are too baggy.

Is the only way I can get a good fit is to buy another Joker DX body?
