It was a fantastic movie. I still think it's the best comic book based movie of all time. Unfortunately, when something based on a comic book gets really popular, it becomes "uncool" with nerds. People's love of Ledger's performance made him the ultimate "uncool". It's ____ing ridiculous how out of joint nerd's noses get. Like the club of nerd is an elite secret domain and people who don't spend all their disposable income on toys need not apply LOL.

I have yet to see a custom Joker head that I think is better than HTs'. I guess people see something I don't. But maybe it's because Ledger is so uncool and only a sub par custom head makes him tolerable.

I saw that one but its out of my reach! : / I messaged Tyson (Batman79) and he said that they were currently working on the weathering/paint of the MPIRE 003 and that the jail cells were already cast and were awaiting paint/assembly. So, I have my hopes up.

Man, the DX01 thread is jumping!

Anyway the best Joker I've seen is one Adam(I think) but the expression was too...tame? For lack of a better work. But the likeness, imo, was stunning. I wish I could find it.
Someone did a repaint of the BR Joker sculpt that I really really liked too. It was posted recently in the Batman collection thread.


edit: Looking at that sculpt again that may be the sculpt I'm referring to but with different paint. Didn't he have another one too

void: I've never seen that one before. That's amazing work.

Fiend: the one I got, I bought from another member and it was $375. I believe that's what Adam charged him. He quoted me $800 for a laughing sculpt at one point. I stretched my limits on the one I have, I couldn't pay what he was asking for another and live with myself.

Who acted like that movie was the reason for their existence?

I've seen a lot of people claiming that "some people got so worked up" and freaking out about "all the TDK freaking out" - but for all that fuss, I never actually saw any of the behavior they're claiming is everywhere.

I think some people like to complain about things and enjoy being part of a backlash - and when there's nothing to legitimately complain about or lash back against, they make it up in their head, because they need a target.

My theory is that it's similar to the hipster syndrome. Once a band they like becomes popular they no longer like it. Likewise with some Batman fans, once enough people go gaga over a charcter/film they love they get turned off to it. It's not their superhero anymore.

Just a theory.

Nah, not big on dios here. However, I like that the table set-up is nice and simple. If I were to get someting dio like it might be that.

Kind of like posing Jack Sparrow with the ship wheel.
