What is so good about the narrow shoulder body anyways?

the biggest thing is that the regular truetype figure had pretty broad shoulders to a point where some clothing would be very tight fitting. Hence the reason to release a narrow shoulder version. Clothing should fit better.

Not just that, but on many figures, it created inhuman looking shapes and proportions to the shoulders. The Joker is one of few figures I've seen on the standard TT where the shoulders didn't hurt the look, he came out fine, but on the flip side, the last Rambo, his body looks too broad and his shoulders look flat, not at all like Sylvester Stallone or really any person.

What about someone like two face?
Does this mean they are discontinuing the regular TT's?

Two-Face's clothes were tailored to the original TrueType, a smaller body won't fix that at this point.

Really, the improvements on the TT body will help most with new Hot Toys figures as the clothes will be tailored to them, like Cop Joker's costume will be tailored to it.

I don't think they're discontinuing it. All 3 TT styles have their uses, now with options, hopefully they'll just choose the right one for each occassion. All 3 can be bought right now as loose bodies.

As far as the clown Joker, you can use a caucasian toned TT for him because you don't see the skin in that costume, he has the gloved hands and a sculpted neck. The only way you'd see the skin is if you dressed him down like the interrogation scene and had his forearms showing.

Good point... I guess I should be ok then. Whew.

Yup, even with the cop he has gloves.

It's really just something to note for those doing customs or setups that show the base body's skin tone.

So the new Godfather figure is out, and in addition to the fancy stand (with gold plated name plaque and carpet) it also comes with the regular black stand. I wonder if HT will do the same thing for the DX Joker!? That would be cool.

Hopefully! The stand with lights is cool and all, but it would be nice to have a stand that matches with the others in the series. Plus the fact it is two figures in one, an extra stand would be usefully for that second figure that is included (minus his body of course :lol ).

Broken record, but I'll be happy enough for the figures to turn out right, nice bases don't mean much if the figure's not up to snuff.

True, but a nice base can always enhance an already great figure. I think the Godfather proves this. Perfect figure, awesome base, great acccessories. They've really raised the bar with Vito. Hopefully DX Joker proves likewise.

Well yeah, I think giving the Godfather figure a full, fitting environment is a great touch.

Probably too big, but given the mob meeting design of the clown part of the set, a chair and table like the meeting would be awesome.

"How 'bout a magic trick."

"Let's wind the clock back a year..."

I could see them including a pencil easily. Maybe even a similar dio. Maybe a backdrop of the other members of the honor guard? Or maybe even a double sided one with the other side featuring the mob meeting kitchen?

I think it would be too much to ask for the table and chair though I would love to see those as well. I'd settle for a few more missing weapons like the shotgun included.

Heh, that would be cool but if they do that there is no excuse to not include the pencil!

That'd be pretty neat, as long as these displays don't up the price. No idea if I'm in the minority, but I wouldn't use bases like Vito's - but then again, I don't even use the stands.

I really wish someone made very easy to come by 1/6 tables. I'm glad those folding chairs are so available, I got a couple and they work great. The only 1/6 tables I've ever seen are these ornate like WWII type tables, I'd settle for a basic 4 legs and a top setup.

Yeah, 1:6 furniture is so hard to come by that isn't from Barbie. Those folding chairs are really the only decent chairs out there. I'd love some more decent chairs and tables too.

Now that Hot Toys seems to have all but perfected figures, hopefully we can start to see some more furniture from them like the Godfather's chair. I'd love a desk to go with him.

Anyone know how to get something like these?
