So where are the mods... I thought the moderators are suppose to control things not let things get out of hand. Or put things back on course. It seems very lackadaisical.

There's no real need for mod intervention. The mods step in when there's personal attacks. This discussion is just 2 sides with a firm position continuously posting that position. People are being civil to one another, it's just a discussion that's like a dog chasing its own tail, going and going, but going nowhere.

Why would the mods interfere with this? It's a discussion (or argument which is quite common on a internet forum) about the number of coat tails on the Joker coat in relation to how accurate the DX figure will be? Completely on topic imo.

If you're so inclined, I'd imagine everywhere will have the slim version also, SSC added it for sale last night, so I'm sure BBTS and the likes will have it too.

It's so weird to see the TT's becoming so available, it's nice, but I wonder why the change. Up until the past couple months, TT's were pretty hard to come by.

I dont know much about the different body types - would slim be more appropriate? Is the actual body that the DX fig comes with for sale? Or are these just close matches?

Well, the bodies for sale right now, at least that I've seen, are the TT caucasian skin tone, which is more pink than the tone's of the TTs they've used on Joker in the past. From what I hear, the Jokers match the Asian skin tone.

So, based on chatter, I believe the standard TT with the narrow shoulders in an Asian skin tone is what will be coming with the DX Joker.

You could probably use the slim one for Joker if that was all you could get your hands on, but I believe the shoulders on the traditional TT may be too wide, at least for the cop costume since it's specifically tailored for the DX body, but the clown costume may be the old patterns, just new fabrics, so those would fit on the old TT, we'll have to see when he ships.

They try to match skin tone of the characters I, I'm not sure why they use the skin tone they do for Joker, it looks kinda unhealthy, but perhaps it makes doing the makeup effect easier than a more colorful skin tone.

As far as the clown Joker, you can use a caucasian toned TT for him because you don't see the skin in that costume, he has the gloved hands and a sculpted neck. The only way you'd see the skin is if you dressed him down like the interrogation scene and had his forearms showing.
