I am not saying I am right, because everyone sees things differently. It is just IMO I can not see any likeness here. I would love a picture to compare it with is all I am saying.

Just to get this thread back on topic, does anyone have pic of the Joker to compare with this pic below? TBH IMO it does not look like Ledger as the Joker here.

Yes, there is definitely something wrong with the eyes. But the paint app and the paint scheme come to the rescue. But you are right.

Here you go. I'm still a bit unsure about the likeness too but I'm deffo gonna get it.

Thanks, good comparison pic but I was looking for something more of a close up shot for the head sculpt.

Oh I am getting it for sure, and I love nearly every picture of it except the front on pictures which are most important picture of all and I can not see Ledger's Joker sculpt in any of them. :(

I can not see anything wrong with the laughing Joker at all, but the normal one only looks good when it is not facing front on, well at least IMO.

Some people on face book are calling this the duck head sculpt. I do not mean to nit pick but I think IMO the sculpt could look a lot better. People complained on here about the Reeve Superman sculpt and it got changed, I am wondering if people feel the same need for change here.

Back to the origins a sec.

In my opinion Joker was in Arkham and escapes when Ra's Al Ghul lets the prisoners out, hence the Joker showing up almost instantly and he's there for the end of begins.

I am more concerned about the heart shape face with pointed chin. Do you think this sculpt needs to be changed or are these minor imperfections like Void said with the pointed chin.

Well any improvement they can make is always welcomed, but they have to REALIZE that these improvements can be made before they actually decide to make them. This sculpt is certainly good enough to be released as is, so we'll have to see what changes if anything before release.

Yeah I agree with that statement it is certainly good enough to released as is, but I know people that actually hate it!

It seems in this thread all we are doing is praising it, but I think we should still mention that it could be a hell of a lot better than what it is IMO.

Can you "see" Heath Ledger in this pic?

I can't.

But to me it looks like the same guy that's in this pic:

As I've had time for this sculpt to process, I've got to agree that the Ledgerness in these sculpts is a bit lacking to my eye. But it is no less accurate than anything they have done before, so I'm cool with it as a replacement. Going by the pics, I think the best eye position is when he's looking to the left. All the real "money" shots seem to be from that angle. For example:

I suspect that if the eyes were painted that way instead of his having PERS, the likeness would look even better.

Sorry no I can not see any resemblance to the character in the pic Jokes & Bats posted.

Maglor, you misunderstand me, first of all people get this thing all wrong about seeing Ledger. It is not about seeing Ledger's sculpt, it is about seeing Ledger's Joker sculpt. When he had prosthetics to mimic the scars on his face, his face was chubbier than it was without make up. Look at this Picture I have attached, he has chubby cheeks with a round chin. The 2.0 sculpt is shaped like a heart with a pointed chin.

I think even more so than the eye direction is not having to look at the sculpt straight on.

The chin in that pic looks almost identical to this chin imo. :dunno

I agree with everything you said, especially about the PERS stuff. I am kind of cool with this as well as when I first saw the teaser pic I was happy that there was some Ledger Joker likeness. However, the fact I can see none when the head sculpt is facing straight, is disturbing.

There is something with the eyes when you look at him straight on, dont know what it is, but really...it is a awesome sculpt.

My other nit pic for this would be that his hair should be a little longer and more messy.

Other than that...He is perfect, IMO.
