oh no, I am quite aware of what thread I am posting on. the fact that you guys think the movie is good just bewilders me.

I don't disagree. I walked out of TDR. Holy Snoozefest. I asked for my money back but the theatre declined..

The worst part about it is that I love Nolan's other films. Inception and Prestige being two of my all time favorites and even the previous 2 bat films were great.

On the bright side the movie does make for a good drinking game.

It wasn't Nolan's best Batman film, but it was still a great Super-Hero movie. It was a great movie full stop. I don't know how anybody didn't get some sort of enjoyment from it, I really don't.

I'm with ya on that one. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sure it has a few flaws, but nothing that takes away from the enjoyment of it.

Must have seen a different film..DKR was a masterpiece and I'm GLAD it wasn't a retread of the first two......Nolan took it into a different realm and people get mad...
but back to the subject at hand..

Best Batman movie IMO. Watched it 15 times on theater.

At first I hated the movie... Then after brainwashing myself by viewing it another ten times... Kinda dig it. The soundtrack by Hans Zimmer is what I like the most with the TDKR. But yeah, it's not epic as the first two Batman movies, imo. But it was an ok movie.

Atleast you gave it a shot more than once Dracula. You kinda dig it. That's understandable, but something not liking it at all just mind boggles me.

Funny I think it's far more epic than TDK and some people have a problem that it is too big and sprawling and doesn't have enough Batman in it...to each his own, though

Yeah since everyone was saying it was so epic I thought it was just me being in a bad mood the first time I saw it. After watching it so many times I like it now but I'm not sure I will ever understand the 10/10 perfect ratings (or the ratings lower than 6/10 for that matter). I want to like all the three Batman movies equally as much, I want it to be the perfect trilogy for me since BB and TDK are my favorite movies of all time. Oh well, at least it's an epic saga/story if I see all three movies as one complete movie.

Yea, I never felt TDK was epic, either. Ledger was an absolute beast and was epic in his own right. As for the movie itself, it's a great movie, but I wouldn't call it epic. TDKR felt very epic and like everything was on a much bigger scale. I thought it kind of blended everything that was so great in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight into this last movie.

Yea, I think at worst it's a 7/10 and at best an 8/10.
