Yeah since everyone was saying it was so epic I thought it was just me being in a bad mood the first time I saw it. After watching it so many times I like it now but I'm not sure I will ever understand the 10/10 perfect ratings (or the ratings lower than 6/10 for that matter). I want to like all the three Batman movies equally as much, I want it to be the perfect trilogy for me since BB and TDK are my favorite movies of all time. Oh well, at least it's an epic saga/story if I see all three movies as one complete movie.



I think expectations were very very high...being touted as the superhero movie to end all superhero movies...

I was absorbed into it and thought it was a fitting climax but so many people expected another cunning, crazy all out maniacal super villian to challenge Bats. Nolan knew he could not go the "new Joker" route. He took it a different direction.
That is why some folks trash it...wasn't a direct sequel to TDK to continue it's theme and feeling.

The soundtrack by Hans Zimmer is what I like the most with the TDKR.

And I agree, the soundtrack is epic!

Hans Zimmer always delivers!

Some people would say Zimmer went overboard.
Maybe true, but still epic!

I'm super new to the Hot Toy phenomenom, and this is my first one! How does Sideshow usually ship? My CC got charged today, and I live literally 30 mins from Sideshow's mailing address (hopefully thats where the wherehouse is too!), so I hope to get it FAST!

Got charged and no shipping yet either, but I don't remember the last time I was charged and shipped the same day from Sideshow for a pre-order. It's always been a day or two apart recently.

i figured out how to give batman the bruce wayne sculpt mouth.
first you take some super sculpy firm press it on the figures mouth creating a mold, then bake it, then you take some more sculpy and press it in the mold, then you just cut it to fit

i tested it on wolverine but you cant see much detail thanks to my bad camera

here is how im gonna get the bw sculpt on the cowl

Best Batman movie IMO. Watched it 15 times on theater.

Well you got me beat. 8 times for me but yeah, best Batman movie for me too, and up there with best films ever for me.

Damn. I may just have to do that.

Yeah.. Why Do We Fall... anything I do while listening to that is just taken to an epic level.

Even taking a **** feels profound.

The past several p/o's I've had with them did. Right up until Jim Gordon. It was the better part of a week after they charged me before mine finally shipped.

They charged me today. I was really hoping for some shipping info tonight but of course, nothing. If you aren't going to ship, don't charge me!
