Well worth it especially if you don't own a TDK/TDKR Batman 1/6 figure yet.

This is the one to buy no doubt. If you ever want to part with it, i'm sure you will get your money back if not more

While you're passing out advice, I am a total completist and don't have either DARK KNIGHT BATMAN ( MMS DX 02 ) or DARK KNIGHT BATMAN ( MMS71 ). Do you think either or both of them are still worth getting?

yeah, i agree, this will be my first hot toys but i dont understand the the huge increase in price ... i also plan to get the amazing spider man and for the accessories that comes with it the price tag is ridiculous!

if the dx02 was $175 when it first came out, i dont think there is $75 worthy difference between them!

This thing still seems to have a lot of problems, but it is the best yet.

All I know is that I want the Bruce Wayne head and nothing else.

Honestly, no.
Being a completist I would just buy the DX02 backpack and perhaps the sonar head, so you have all the accessories covered.

But this version spanks the DX02 so bad, no reason to spend any money on that at this point IMO.

hey guys, i'm really impressed with this figure and since i missed out on the dx02 i am definetley picking up the dx12.

however, i just want to know that since i am living in ireland, where would be the best place to order it from? i know on sideshow it has free shipping but i could get caught with custom fee's.

Any advice?

I'm so glad to see this today, and to see that it is, indeed, ____ing awesome. I was sad to pack up my DX02 and ship him off, but now I'm SO glad I sold him, and even more glad to have gotten back what I paid. I'll miss the backpack though. May have to score one on ebay, if it'll even work with this one.

Looks like the cape may actually be decent as well. This has probably been mentioned, but is it me or is the cape not scalloped?

Yeah, you just need the backpack and sonar head. Either way, you can pass completely on the first non-deluxe version.

Although you may want the DX02 so you can display one of your Batmen with a Bale head and one without. While not as nice as this release, I actually like the mouth plates better on the DX02, and it is still a great toy. Worth every bit of the $350 I spent on mine (I was a bit late to the game...).

Wow so collecting for a while makes you extremely picky when it comes to the tiniest flaws? Haha i just got into this hobby and im blown away by these things. I can understand being picky after seeing the prices though...insane

I think some people are forgetting that half of these expressions are taken from "The Dark Knight Rises" meaning more than likely they will work well with a scene created where Bats and Bane are going at it.

As for the mouth/chin sculpt under the cowl, I think its great... no issues ressembling Bale at all.

Now bring on Bane!

That is the best bruce wayne head sculpt i seen outta all the others, I really need to think this one over, I was going to get the avengers and start with getting nick fury and hawkeye, but I think I will save up for this, cause this batman figure looks too good to pass up on .

Passed on Batman til finally something like this came out. Exceeds my expectations and will be acquired. Thankfully, same thing worked out for me with the Joker.

I do wish Batman came with the Ipad he has in one of the screenshots. Only thing I wish I had from the previous version is the Sonar head which I can get separately.

Looks great but I'm not going to PO just yet. Q4 / December means sale season so high probability that one can be picked up for less than retail. And they might very well produce a huge quantity of these knowing how popular DX02 was.

Cape is better than before, but still not a patch on lforigno's capes

And yes, no scallops, Nolan Batman capes don't have scallops
