Some prefer the stock cape on this to the customs.

I'm not saying I agree, but this is by far the best cape Hot Toys has made. Once it's installed correctly it lays brilliantly on the shoulders thanks to the wire on the edge. And it's also the first time HT has made a cape that was a single layer. It's not nearly as bad as some here are claiming.

Before I got my DX12 I was going to replace the cape but once in hand I fell in love with it. One of there best capes to date and fits the figure great. My only complaint is the sketchy directions for installing the clips.

I think the Dx12 cape is just fine...better than the DX 02.

Yeah, the instructions are pretty bad.

I'm getting a second one soon. Before I do any mods to it I plan to do a 'getting the most out of your stock DX12' video.

I'm not the poser and futzer as many on here, but wanted to share my set-up. Ended up going for the short rayon cape.
Saw the Bruce pose with a wine glass and thought it was very cool. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, huh.

Dude, nice. I have no problems with the stock cape clips, have had Batman since HT's first release, I'm quite adept at putting the cape on. One question, how do you get the gap between the chest plate and abs to close up all the way, like that? I've tried and I've tried, it just won't close.

This is as low as it gets on mine.

I dunno how long it took Mag to futz his, but I spent maybe 5 mins on mine. It goes lower if he's slouched, but I don't like Batman slouched. Bad posture.

Dude, you should either buy a BW mouth plate from Robbie or buy a KO BW head and make a mouth plate from that. It's really great. More variety.

Got one of robbie's ordered. Really love the DX02 mouth though.

Nah don't get me wrong man, I love the dx02 mouth too. I just like the fact that with the BW mouth plate, we have more posing options with superior plates as opposed to the mediocre stock ones (although I do like the frown and think the screaming one is decent....so yeah I just hate the neutral mouth)

Btw, are you finally satisfied with your dx12 yet? Or are there a few more touches you have left to do. As of now, I'm fully satisfied and consider it the best 1/6 representation of my fav character from my fav movie. Even though I haven't done the eye mod, with the new mouth plates, I think it's perfect as is and can't wait for the 1/4.

(When you gonna drop knowledge on us in regards to the new neck mod brah?)
