Kilmer wasn't bad. I'd put his performance on-par with Keaton.

Honestly, I don't think Clooney would've been so terrible if he'd been in a completely different Batman movie. He had nothing to work with. Bad dialogue. Bad story. Bad action. Bad casting. Bad director. Bad costume. Bad set design. Nothing at all. He probably would've been tolerable, and Kilmer terrible, if they'd switched movies. Then again, maybe Kilmer would've been bright enough to tell Schumaker to f--- off after reading that script.

Is that Clooney .gif really a reaction to a B&R joke?

I doubt it, it was more for humor on my part.

In all sincerity, I think Clooney pokes fun at himself having been in it. At least the few times I've seen him talk about it.

Hahah, that is classic. I'm guessing this must have been from the mid-ninnies during the best years of Simpson's writing, since they make a joke about the "newer batman films" not having robin. It always surprised me how popular "the Simpsons" was over in the U.K

25 minutes of screen time if done right can make it seem like a character is in it a lot more. Especially if the character is mentioned a lot.

True. But the way people are acting. I think they are forgetting that this is still a Superman movie after all. But who knows . Maybe they might do a Batman spinoff after with Affleck.

Oh, this can't be a one shot deal for Ben. There had to be a larger deal in the works. Directing the next batman film or a possible Justice league film maybe, but Warner Bros would be foolish not to lock up whoever they wound up getting for Batman for future projects. Especially with Marvel setting the mold.

It's going to be great when Affleck proves the naysayers wrong with their little lame, cliched jokes, and makes, writes, and directs a fantastic Bruce Wayne/Batman.

The guy probably gets the character more than any other Batman actor or director has/did. He's not just a force that understands actors on screen, but behind the screen as well. Two years from now, the haters will be crying when their Affleck Batman dolls are delayed.

The gauntlets on the DX20 Affleck batman are not the right proportion to the ones in the film, and you should be able to draw a straight line across the wings of the bat symbol on Affleck's chest. LOLZ at anyone buying this.

Only thing I'm curious about is if they'll create a completely new Batman style with a new outfit and vehicles and so on
or if we'll see at least some stuff from the Nolan trilogy back on screen again?

I mean there wasn't anything sold/ auctioned by now from the movies that could be essential, right?

From what I read. It's a complete new Batman with no ties to the Nolan universe.
