Thanks bud. I took out the pers plate and used tamiya epoxy to resculpt the eyelids. Used hi res photos of the BW sculpt as reference and replicated bales eye shape whilst giving him a slight squint. Ive seen similar mods where the modder only applied epoxy to either the top or bottom eyelids, thus making him look either sleepy or is about to sneeze. IMO, to make it look more convincing, you need to apply epoxy on the top and bottom. more importantly, eye shape is priority.

The mods I've performed on my collection are all very light, nothing major like this. I was surprised that I was able to pull it off. Which means, if I was able to do it, anyone can.

Thanks Wolf. Tweaked it once more and then left it because I was considering buying a Wanye sculpt for $30 and just cutting out the eyes since I love the way it looks but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

So far the sculpted lids looks like this

Yeah, that looks excellent. The sculpting you did blends seamlessly with eyelids.

Thanks fellas.I picked up some Elmer's cement but if that doesn't hold I'll go the black tape route. The thing that goes in their really puts a lot of pressure on it. I'm looking forward to posing him with Selina and Bane.

Finally got the chance to see this up close. It looks pretty bad IMO. I'm definitely not a stickler for movie accuracy but it just seemed to me like HT didn't even try to do their best for this figure.

I blame their hard on for Iron Man.

Hey pixelpiper, great shots. Did you do anything to alter the appearance of your Tumbler LEDs? Either on the car itself, the lighting hitting the car, white balance/another setting in your camera, or post photo color correction? I ask because by default, the Hot Toys' Tumbler (and Batpod) lights are noticeably blue-shifted, but in your photo, they have the correct warmer color tones like the car does on film.

I replaced them all with warm white LEDs and resistors to protect them - the Tumbler now gets its power from 12v which is fed from that fat corrugated hose coming from that box to the front/right of Batman - which is in turn wired by that thinner black power cord you see moving to the right and connected to the wall to the right/behind Selina.

That, or they did it on purpose to suck us into buying the more accurate 1/4 scale figure...

What lets it down is the headsculpt of the cowl - which is just disgustingly horrific.

= Medicom or MRM had as a replacement and you're sorted.

I personally love my Dx12. It's always been my favourite piece.

I just find him a bit chunky on the lower half of the figure.

What's the medicom or MRM? I just got my dx12 this week and also am not crazy about the cowl.

Here's the MRM cowl - a custom made cowl from a member on here. The faceplate is the Wayne sculpt which I cut and sanded to fit.
