Yeah, Hux should have gotten a release before these Snowtroopers guys, Phasma and the flamethrower troopers. He was one of the main and most prominent baddies. I like how Ren and him are at odds. Also liked the subtle scene where Ren doesn't have his mask on and he looks all embarrassed when Hux walks in like "oh man, I don't want him to see me without the mask". You can tell there is a rivalry there between the two of them.

The only real stand out troopers were Finn (obviously), regular troopers (like the one that guards Rey and gets mind tricked, 007) and of course the riot shield "TRAITOR" trooper. If I were collecting, I'd get those three. The rest? Eh, I think Hasbro and Hot Toys went way too far. A lot of the troopers featured and designed in the movie really didn't do anything but stand around. I was surprised by that.

parried a friggin' lightsaber without one. That's special and should'a gone to someone like Phasma.

The spacetroopers did less and I only recall the ESB snowtroopers like in what 3 scenes and a deleted one. Oh no, seriously is Abrams playing those games with us too?

I agree. I think Hux should have been one of the first announcements. Definitely over the Snowtroopers and Flametroopers.

I feel duped by Hasbro. I bought a bunch of **** that never even appeared. I should have known better.

My original goal was to get everything, even after the first viewing. On my second viewing I changed my mind. Right now, I probably will be getting Jakku Trooper, Regular, Riot and maybe the Heavy Gunner. I would like a shorter trooper as well, but that is only offered in a two pack with the officer. Plus Phasma, to cool to pass up and I am assuming will have a larger role in 8.

The design of this is still superb. Hopefully we will see a lot more of this trooper in the following movies.

They were in the film walking behind Kylo in the snow and behind during the new order speech to the troops

My initial plan was to have these to flank Kylo. Still might do it. I wouldn't let their limited time in the movie make the decision for you. They look badass.

Lack of screen time is okay. Just makes Snowtroopers the TFA equivalent of ANH Spacetroopers.

The figures they released appeared on screen, the vehicles didn't.

I bout two mini walkers, two black/red speeder bikes, a first order snowspeeder, and a desert speeder that was implied Finn drove. None of it appeared.

I wasn't being sarcastic but you're totally right, lol. I've seen that mini walker and Finn or Poe's desert speeder bike. Lego even has a Snowtrooper carrier that had me thinking there'd be another big snow battle in the movie.

Totally forgot about those toys until you mentioned them.

My bad. Yeah, I don't why these companies do this. I rather would have had the happabore beast that was drinking water with Finn or the luggabeast with Teedo. Even the landing craft that transports the Stormtroopers to battle. Now the vehicles never in the film are just rotting on shelves.

The concept art showed Rey and Finn vs Snowtroopers in a speeder chase reminiscent of the chase on Endor. I think it got scrapped from the movie. They were supposed to do something, maybe it was even filmed. It does seem odd Hasbro makes the First Order Snowspeeder and Hot Toys makes these for such a limited screen time. That is why I think it may have been filmed. Either way, they did do nothing. Probably going to pass on them. If Hux is announced I might get the two pack to pose with him.

I still like how these look despite the lack of screen time. Not sure if I want to get any Troopers from the new film though as there are too many main characters I'd rather get.

I still love the design on the Snowtroopers, so I'll still pick up the regular one. There are still more movies to come that can feature them more and perhaps deleted scenes on the Blue-ray to 'help me sleep better at night' about my purchase (not that I really need that).

The Snowtrooper is a fabulous looking figure. I am sure you will be thrilled with it by the time this trilogy is complete.

Hoping when the BluRay comes out they have an extended edition with the deleted scenes.
