I was thinking if this came in at high $200's I'd bite but yeah.... nup. I'd rather a second Sparrow DX instead with a wad of leftover cash than new WM.

Right now they range from around $340 to $425US before shipping.

Balrog has it right. There are better things to do with that sort of coin (heck, that's approaching what the huge Iron Monger will cost...)

I like this figure, if it was the same or less cost than the existing War Machine i might get it, maybe, if others get delayed.

I went ahead and ordered one on the bay for $340 shipped. It seemed like a decent deal since some people are paying over $400 and I hope it will be limited at least for awhile.

I agree. I was close to get Bruce off ebay for $300+. Days later, I got the PO email. I am waiting.

I'm just gonna wait to see if SSC gets it up for preorder. I really like the repaint, but for $400, I'd rather spend the little extra to get the iron monger. Plus, already have the original war machine......so this is just an extra luxury I really can't justify quite yet...especially with all the preorders I already have for other upcoming Hot Toys.

Yeah I agree...it does look pretty cool, but not $400 cool. Maybe if I were rich...

It could have just been a coined statement she was suppose to use, and it could have been the truth, but I had an online chat with a SS rep yesterday inquiring about an order. I thought I'd throw in the question of if and when the Special Edition WM is coming.

She said "We don't know anything about that here and if it is, they are keeping it quite to all of us"!

I hope this is inaccurate.

Why o why? they should finish the MK2 ammor unleashed and iron monger then call it a day! Painting old figures they have in storage with gay colors is weak.

Well the Mark 2 has been delayed to Q2 next year, meaning this will be released before it despite the MK2 being announced and up for order for far longer.
