I got this figure a few days ago... but the screw on the back of the neck for the light up eyes is already stripped. The one on my original WM is stripped too. Is there any way i can get the screws out....or break the panels off? Since the panels are hidden behind the back for the most part, i don't care if i need to break them off, I just want those batteries OUT! I'm not going to sell them anyway.

mine was stripped as well. But I got it out by using a flathead to catch the edges where it wasn't stripped yet. took a bit of force but I got it out. Luckily I bought an extra IM neck and used that new screw. It was really tight screwing in so what I did was screw and unscrew constantly till it got loose enough where I can screw it in without any force.

Here is an even better custom iron patriot IMO

THANKS. I was having trouble uploading the pic.

That is sweet! How can you not like that?!

If hot toys can make a samurai predator there should be no reason they can't do this, and god knows there not concerned about makng to many iron man figures.

Ha ha, that's not going to happen but I'd love a Union Jack Iron Man but I would definitely buy that Patriot Iron Man, looks friggin sweet :rock

I know it is a shame! We need a good British (or rather English) superhero!

i've got a question, how many button batteries are there in your special edition war machine's neck?

the reason i am asking is i am considering getting one too although i have the original release. also i read on sideshow that it has 12 batteries. doing the math, meaning 3 on each arm, 3 for the arc reactor and 3 in the head, am i correct?!

this also leads me to thinking if that is the cause of my original war machine's dim eyes. i only have 2 on my war machine's neck and also saids on the instruction manual. so i don't think i'm missing a battery. what happens if i put in 3 batteries in his neck, would that fry is led? or makes no difference?

edit: checked my ironman mark vi, which also has 3 button batteries on his neck, leaving my original war machine the only one having only 2 batteries.

I think they all should have 3 batteries in each area.
