I know where your coming from, I recently bought some mini-busts made by Gentle Giant & rather than the usual weighty feel, 3 of them were very light & it turns out they are hollow, considering they weren't any cheaper than the non-hollow mini-busts I definitely felt cheated.

Yeah, the weight is definitely a factor. Of course, we are looking at the difference between plastic vs. die-cast.

I'm getting used to the difference with Hot Toys, although it does seem like it should not be such a shift in weight from one to the other.
