Their fb page says $1580 so that's like $210 usd
The mech tech (2.0) is going for $180 usd...
Either they're dropping their prices or its only for people at anicom to get this price??

People in HK get their figures much cheaper in USD dollars compared elsewhere and I am sure Mark 33 will be priced similarly to HeartBreaker too.

If Hot Toys do price their figures down for the rest of the world, it will be history in the making, :)

Would be nice they swap this with the Mansion Assault hs.

Am I the only one happy with the Q3-Q4 2014 release dates? :lol
Like I said yesterday, Hot Toys is announcing so many damn Iron Man 3 figures that - given the time it takes them to actually put these things into production - they'll still be trying to release them when Iron Man 5 hits theaters.

Anyhow, so no ab-crunch articulation on this armor, eh? I imagine that's going to become a trend with these non-hero armors; it'll significantly reduce the number of parts and R&D which they're going to need at the rate they're building suits. I think the simplification of the armor makes this figure look comparatively cheap, however.

Why would you think a release date more than a year from now has any meaning?

Just a good indicator I that I have enough time to save for the Iron Man 3 onslaught. :panic:

The price of this figure will determine if I'll go all in on the 4 new figs.
Hopefully, it's also $250. It has the same PO price as Mk 17 in HK anyway.

Same here, I need time to save money :horror

I should stop buying non essential things like food and stuff :lol

I hope you're right. But SC has a few accessories and a 2nd head sculpt. It wouldn't surprise me if it were a few bucks more.

Hmmm...this one is certainly growing on me. I'm thinking if I'm going to get one suit from IM3, this just might be it. 1) He actually wears it in the movie 2) The suit actually advanced the plot and its special weapon was used (the arm cutting scene) 3) It looks way cooler than Mark XVII (I'm sorry but the gold on red is a bit dorky)

Now I already have a Mark VI but I may still want this. So on the con side 1) It looks a bit too close to the Mark VI 2) The waist bending gimmick is gone 3) The air flaps on the back don't deploy 4) The helmet HS doesn't appear to be able to close the faceplate 5) Pathetic BD and minimal accessories 5) probably cost as much as the Mark VII

So, what did I saying about buying this or not? I lost track...

Woke up this morning to see these pics, by the time I got to work it was totally overshadowed by the new Tony Stark :lol

Nice figure, probably the best in terms of armour from the IM3 license so far but I can justify the purchase
