Super Freak
took me 45 min to assemble and get feel for the moving parts. now its together and instead of the mark4 i thought the mark2 au looks cooler since it has more separated parts. better pics 2moro

Anyone have accurate measurement for complete set w figure on? Also the measrements on the cutout background.
Product Size: 15.8" H (401.32mm) x 23.6" W (599.44mm) x 12" D (304.8mm)
The cutout background is glued to the packaging and is much too small to be used as a background for the gantry. It was really meant to be for the box only. It's roughly about 12" x 8".
Looks awesome! Forgetting movie accuracy, I think the new MKII is the best fit for the gantry.

thanks, yep normally im about movie accuracy but in this case it just begging to be used. kind of like our of scene we never got to see in im2. but ill still put tonys head on this one.
Maybe someone here who purchased their Gantry from AE can chime in.
I thought they already got their allotment and shipped already.
Split shipment on the Gantry/Mark IV. I've been waiting on mine, seems like it won't be much longer!
Well we saw the MKII being assembled from the feet up(Right onto the mech test boots), albeit without the flip up floor panels of the Gantry set and we saw the gantry removing the MKIII(Although it has to be said it was a drastically different gantry).
I always wondered about Stark's line when Jarvis is trying to get the MKIII off him, and Stark says: "Be gentle. It's my first time".
Well if he means the first time he has had the gantry remove the Armour, surely the MKII had to be removed?
I believe there was a deleted scene(Or just a drastically cut-down scene) missing from the MKII being assembled. I think the way the scene was originally filmed was that Tony was assembling the MKII HIMSELF. In the scene where it gets put on, gantry arms assemble the legs, but there's a closeup of his left arm being "screwed together", and i swear you see one of his hands on the tool doing the work. Eventually, he reaches over to the bench and manually attaches the faceplate.
I think the reason for the MKIII being his "first time" of a suit removal, is that he must have created the main suit-up gantry specifically for suiting up the MKIII onwards.
But in my mind, there's no canon reason the MKII couldn't have been put on with that gantry. We know Rhodey did it.
And i can picture Stark tinkering with the older suits(In the Hologram ramp-up in Stark's garage in IM2, there's a little popup above each suit, MKI says: "reconstruction", MKII says "prototype", MKII says "Battle Damage", and MKIV says "Awaiting upgrade"), so he would have to be able to put them on, hence the IM2 Gantry not being against canon...
