The fact that I used a Jnix head with a tall trooper body would probably make this a pass for me. Unless HT did something really cool

They should do a Fruit Loops mail in - promotional with this figure - just for nostalgia sake.

The smirk on this sculpt looks very weird. They just used the old Han solo sculpt and added a smirk. It just doesnt work like that, when you smirk your whole face smirks not just your mouth.

Yeah, it's one thing if it's a subtle smirk but this one ain't too subtle.

Someone posted this in the new thread. Sums up your point well, just looks like nothing was really adjusted sculpt-wise except for the mouth, to a slightly creepy effect.

It feels like they just used the liquify tool on photoshop on the original sculpt hahah. I just farted this out on photoshop but this is basically what they've done:

I sorta feel if you're going to bother resculpting half the face, why not just do the whole face?

That said I'll still pick it up and like that they did the side eyes like they did with Luke. Wonder if they'll also do the sweat effect?

Worst case I tilt the head to the side to hide the smirk or use the helmet or a custom head.

Not a bad idea. This head will have the better hair color (plus no seam). For some reason it looks like they skipped the sweat feature that Luke had. Also has the different stand. Did HT forget that they already released Han's counterpart? Han never had the comm mic either.

Guess they felt if the commlink was on his belt it might as well be useable.

For those who feel compelled to have the heroes in their disguises, this will be a sharp set.

I wouldn't mind having a loose ST helmet myself. I like the insides.

Doubtful it will be possible, but I'd love to get ahold of this Han head and the helmet. Probably never get the loose helmet and with only 200 made I'll have to settle for the recast in two years time.

I wonder if they are making 200 for just the show... and then another 1,500 that end up being available. They always say low numbers and then these things are available everywhere when the time comes.

Do they recognize April Fools day in China?

lol, well I don't think so - but who says it's really from China ;)

Just got used to believing it was never going to come even though I kept hoping it would. :rotfl

No way this is just 200.

You can buy my Han sculpt but not the helmet. :lol

You mean like the "exclusive" Spacetroopers which I think are still able to be had on Sideshow over a year later.....
