Got mine yesterday but didn't have time to get them unboxed till today. Haven't found an exact pose I like but these ones will be the ones in the display for now.

Overall love the figures and the sculpt. Really digging having a real stormtrooper to go with Kylo too as I only had the cheap 12".

Here's some quick pics. Testing out a new Leica Macro lens and new camera too.

Nice but you need the saber ignited for that moment..not the same

Excellent pics, Batman! I have yet to mess with those light up arms because of that. Too much trouble for what it does.

Should easier than Kylo though. Take the jacket off, pop the arm off and attach saber arm.

Way more difficult. Kylo you just unzip his sleeve and swap the arm. Finn you have to undo his buckle, roll up part of the jacket, pull out the arm, make sure the other arm is in the sleeve (the sleeve is barely stretchy enough to fit the battery arm inside, and then redo everything. Took me almost an hour the first time.

Got mine today. Haven't chosen how I want to set up Finn yet, so just messed with TR-8R. I found that I could get a bit more posability out of him after I futzed with the under-suit around the shoulders; but still, I was a bit frustrated by how little of a dramatic pose I could get out of a character with a pretty awesome action scene.

Great shots, Batman. Love the shot of the riot trooper.

Got Finn in today and took some shots. I'm a little undecided on this figure. Preferred the original head sculpt, not crazy about the scale issue. I'm really just tempted to go with Finn Stormtrooper at this point.

I gonna wait til the Stormtrooper version. It's both Finn and a Stormtrooper also I like the idea of Finn being on the First Order side then switching sides.

Have both Finn & Rey and after some comparisons with other figures and other bodies, I'm going to say that it is Rey who is too short. Rey's height (or lack there of) comes down to the fact that HT used the standard female body with flat boots. Figure to figure, she's shorter than all the other female figures in my collection except for Leia. Almost all of the female figures have boots or shoes that have a high heel in the mold; both Rey and Leia do not.

Thanks guys!

Yeah I think it's a little bit of both but Rey is the truly out of scale one. Next to Kylo and the Storm trooper Finn looks a touch big. The Rey figure should be longer as she is pretty tall in real life. I wonder if the resistance outfit will have the same issue or be easier to fix.

I don't have Rey yet but regardless of how Finn looks next to other figures he still needed an adjustment in height. Removing the ankle extensions just gives him a better look overall. They were totally unnecessary.

These are really beautiful pics, guys... But it seems the better the pictures, the more disappointed I am with the Finn sculpt. His features are SO heavy, and his look is SO intense that I just can't find warm hearted, insecure Finn. Keeping my order though. Hoping like most it will work in hand.

I'm thinking the sculpt with the sweat sheen might work better on the Stormtrooper sculpt. I wonder if they release that soon or give this time to sell. Open mouth would have made it just about perfect.

To me that expression on Rey works a bit better on the resistance version, feeling similar here.

I know this is a long shot but do you think if enough of us complained to HT concerning the improper scale that they would make a modified ankle joint for Finn? Considering how off the scale is, they should give them away at no charge to everyone that complains to them about it or at least at highly reduced price.

Likeness is good from this first angle. I think this sculpt still doesn't capture his youthfulness the way the first one did.

I think I prefer the angles where the furrowed brow isn't as prominent.

Can anyone explain to me the best way to have Finn's blaster hung over his shoulder? I've seen it done that way in photos from events, but the large strap on the blaster is way too large and it just falls off his shoulder, and the small strap seems to be TOO small and won't get over his jacket to his shoulder. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not even sure what the small strap is meant to be for, honestly. The straps don't appear to be adjustable, and I don't want to break them trying to force it.

I'm also having an embarrassingly hard time trying to put on Finn's electronic arm.

I pulled on his arm to swap it out and only his forearm came without the elbow. Now I can't seem to get the rest of the arm out. I don't know if I'm supposed to pull on this "pin" until it comes out or what. =/
