It's just that pic of her looks like a pretty generic ad from a fashion magazine - so to me she looks like a lot of other fashion models. I was asking because I thought you were being sarcastic but wasn't sure.

"Beauty is distinctive" sounds like a high end soap slogan.

I guess perception is distinctive too. You may as well just say all white girls look the same.

This figure actually looks like the Hasbro figure. I wonder if that's what they used for reference material. They decided if they gave her skin excessive, unrealistic texture and made the eyes look wet, snotty nerds who couldn't tell the difference between one attractive brunette and another would just be happy it has better paint than a Sideshow doll.

I've been trying to place who she does look like. Someone said Sigourney Weaver, which is close. It think her features are closer to Lance Hendrickson.

I started collecting in 2013 and my first hot Toys big purchase was 89 batmobile. OK, it was not 2014. I appreciate the mature and respectful collectors here. It is sad that people have to question why they started collecting. My reasons go much deeper than just a hobby. It is a way to deal with life, poor health I have, and burying 3 of my children in the past.I chose healthier ways than drug and alcohol to deal with pain. So that is why i started collecting wor gar in the first place. It is supposed to be fun and chat about a cool hobby. I apologize for calling wor gar what I did. I let my emotions get the better of me and I apologize for that. My besy friends liver is failing and i am flying out to cleveland friday to be screened to be a live liver donor. I am nervous and scared. I am man enough to admit when i was wrong. But please do not question me on why I started collecting. That was kind of unfair in the context it was asked. I hope no one ever has to experience what I have, but at least find positive ways to deal with life.

Enjoy the hobby and the break and happiness it gives you. Please just respect my opinion if you do not agree with. Some people just feel prices are just getting too high. That's all. But I will be focusing on premium format figures because I feel I get more for my money and they hold their value better. Thank you to those who understand my point and accept my apologies. For those who will not, well it just is not worth getting upset over. More important things to worry about in the world, like my wife and children that I do have.

I was already impressed with the promo shots but the Secret Base photos really sold it for me. She (and BB-8) look fantastic!
