They seem quite fond of it; be grateful they didn't use it for Kylo Ren!

This is one of those times where you have to decide if you want prop accurate or story accurate. The prop was different in each movie, but for story purposes, it's the same lightsaber.

Just clarify, the Bespin Luke ignited saber is not removable. I know it doesnt actually light up, which is probably the versions you meant.

That's what I was asking about, if there was any reason why Rey's blade might not be removable. If it's not, I guess I still need to hunt down Luke's hilt, as that's how I want to display her.

I feel confident in saying that Rey's saber will either include two hilts (ignited and unignited) or it will be one hilt with removable blade. So you should be ok.

i seem to not remember clearly but was her outfit very different during the saber fight vs in the beginning? the base outfit?

I think its gonna be very cool display Rey with luke pretty much same outfits from same neighborhood tattooine clothing shop. the desert summer collection.

Pretty sure it's the same outfit, only time it's different is when she finds Luke.

well in that case would have loved a lighted saber. especially when kylo comes with one it would have been great to display them from time to time with the sabers on... sucks big time.. i rather would have had them even charge a bit extra for that feature than to hunt down extra sabers and or buy another version solely for a saber. the most important fight in the movie and the most important character in the movie does not have a lighted saber and Finn the dude is roaming around with one...

Yep if anything we will have to wait 4 next movie release of her 4 a lit saber. I have a huge feeling or hope her staff becomes a double bladed saber a yellow blade would rock! i hope i'm wrong and include 1 now tho.

Too bad the speeder didn't have a bit more screen time. I was thinking when her and Finn were running from the TIE fighters for sure she was gonna hop on there. I think it has a chance of getting made though and even though it looks like a sideways Fudgsicle it's pretty awesome and harkens to Luke's Landspeeder, which will also probably be made by somebody.

Yes i seen the jello puddin pop pic lol. Its a ratrod bike a engine n seat all she needs to scavenge. Sad there was no jawas in this.

The one nice thing about the unlit saber thing is, I'm SURE they will do a "Resistance Rey" figure at some point and she'll have the light-up feature in some fashion. And I KNOW I'm getting that figure. So I'll just give that to this Rey... or keep this Rey in Scavenger mode and use it with Resistance Rey, on-screen accuracy be damned. Well, until Episode VIII, one supposes.

Do you mean essentially like the ANH Vader then (not sure what ANH Luke comes with yet hilt wise)? That's my guess as to how it will come.

Two hilts; one permanently affixed to the hand for LED light up and another free standing hilt. Blade is interchangeable between both hilts.

There won't be one affixed to the hand, because we know it's not going to light up.
