Using the word faggot in such a manner in my country is a hate crime, just as bad as if it were to say the word "N1gger" instead.

But I digress, Edward Cullen is a total nancy-boy, and sparkling "vampires" can suck it.

i almost puked when i saw that sparkly crap in twilight. i though it was going to be the coolest seen in the whole film where edward turns into some kinda trollface. i immediately had to watch 30 days of night after it to restore my vampire vision.

also, vf42, it might seem like political correctness BS to you, but some people have gone through their whole lives being referred to by negative and disgusting words. i agree with mollins - you wouldn't use the n word so casually, so don't use faggot. if you ever suffered racism or the like you'd know what we're talking about.

I think the worst scene in that movie was where they all play baseball and was the scene which caused me to turn it off. The glitter scene was pretty bad too. "So the secret he's hiding is that he's prettier?!?!" So silly. 30 Days of Night are my kind of vampires. Hell even Blade's vamps are a little too pretty for my tastes. I like my vampires to be monsters that just sort of look like humans.

Yeah, I also like monsterous vamps. And savagely vamps. Blade, The Lost Boys, Fright Night, 30 Days Of Night, Interview With A Vampire. Those are my favorite vamp movies.

Interview I think leans more towards "attractive" than monstrous. I think even though it's not my favorite vamp movie (see Near Dark for that) the look of the vampires in 30 Days of Night might be my favorite. I loved the chick on the bottom here.

That's a good point. It still isn't Edward pretty though. Lestat was cool. 30 Days does rock and are probably hands down the most savage. But for me it is the bon fire scene in The Lost Boys. Because the whole movie you're thinking 'these vamps are cool' and then BAM they start pulling peoples scalps off. And their faces got all twisted. Very savage. I'd like to see Edward fight David.

One of my favorite vampire films of all time.
