Thanks dude!

Yeah that was my plan alright but being honest about it when I saw him in hand I didnt really think it was necessary. He is a little thin but the jacket and vest cover that up. Sometimes the jacket can fold in ways that really make it noticable but a little futzing fixes that. But next time I'm changing out the hands I'll give a a shot just to see how it looks, but as it stands now I couldnt be happier with him.

Which is a slight problem because the more impressed I am with the latest one the more eager I am for my next purchase!

I ain't a professional but depending on your camcorder (sub $800) your sensor maybe even small compared to a P&S
even HD only means barely 2Megapixel and likely the camera function has a higher res
To improve detail really only thing can help is more lighting and better focus (I think your fullbody shot it is focusing on the monitor for the speaker but definetely not the figure)
can't trust the preview you seen on the device as it is not highres enough for you to determine if your focus is spot on so some P&S and most DSLR will give you zoomed in preview in manual focus mode. But having tons of natural light will be a big help as it will increase your depth of field (focuse zone)

Ok some of that is going straight over my head but the camera can go up to 12megapixel, I do know that!

I thought that myself about the full shot it seems to be focusing on everything but the fig, I'll need to look into it some more...

Probably trying it in daylight will clear things up a bit

Got Blade today! Incredibly fast shipping from Forbidden Planet (although they shipped to my billing address, which I expressly asked them not to! - oh well)

I'm blaming you, biojex. Your pictures totally sold me. I'm not even a huge Blade fan or anything, but I did like the first two movies a lot. This figure is just so amazing though. I put the holsters on under his coat. I think it's a cool look. I just can't get over the detailing and all the weapons! My only complaint is that I don't know which weapons to give him first!

I did do something stupid, though. The place where the straps on the front fold back on themselves in the front... I knew the jacket wasn't removed via the snaps... but I thought the straps were there to hold some of the weapons. I gave a little tug to test it and... SNAP! The thin thread came free holding the extra strap length back. Grrr. I can't believe I was so stupid. still, I don't think it's too big of a deal. Nothing a tiny dab of superglue won't fix.

The likeness... the guns... the outfit...

this is an amazing figure. Hopefully Wolverine will be coming tomorrow! I might to take some pictures later.
