They would have been better giving her Black Widow type hair, not style, but look. That way it would be that straggly wet look.

Hair is pretty good though as a general Sarah, just not for that particular scene.

Well I knew the parting was in the wrong place and maybe its a bit too red but I can live with that. With the unique lighting of the steel mill scenes on which this release is based I think it can get away with the colour issue.

I know some prefer sculpted hair but I think in this case it would have looked too much like a big wierd helmet.

Apparently RIT dye can be brushed on to dye dolls hair. I'm going to give this a try.

How are you going to dye a darker (Reddish) Color a lighter (Light Brown)?

Seems like you may have to bleach the hair before dying it.

I'd be very careful, K. Maybe best to PM Les or Seb before doing this.

Well, I broke down and ordered the T-800 through Toys2. Couldn't help it. This will make it my 3rd Hot Toys fig, 2 Sarah's and now him. Can't wait. Don't need a Battle Damaged one now, the more I thought about it, I preferred the more iconic look. If I ever do want a 12" BD, I'll just get the NECA one.

Only wish is that he had bullet holes in his jacket.

No one has made the hair look dead-on accurate to the steel mill scenes, true. But theres nothing actually wrong with the way the hair looks straight outta the box. Hot Toys simply chose to leave it clean - a blank slate for buyers to modify themselves - its too early to say that no one will get it looking like the film.

The best thing HT could have done with the hair at their end would be to have gone more like Black widow, when I saw that figure, I thought the wavy look of it would work good for Sarah's messed up look, it was a bit of a let down to see this figure come out so straight, but, I'm happy enough with the manipulation you can get out of what they went with.

Would have liked straight hair BW instead... so we can achieve whatever looks we want... straight hair red head.... could have done a Jean Grey...

Some very good photo's here from you guy's.

I collected mine yesterday and it looks pretty good straight out of the box. I'll most probably try to scruff the hair up a little to look more screen accurate and then photo it to show here if I think I have done a good job.

This Sarah is a good Cyberdyne or helicopter attack/fight Sarah more than Steel Mill.

At the hairstylist right now. Maybe in another 10min when he is done laughing he will start taking it serious

Did a little work on mine. I still have to mess the hair up quite a bit and use something to then hold the hair in the dirty sweaty look.

Anyway, I wet the hair a little to rough it up a bit then cut a fringe.

Here is as it looks for now.

To acheive the wavy look i think you might try taking small amounts of the hair and braiding it. Would probably have to be alot of small sections braided then perhaps heating it up would keep it looking wavy. Then put small amounts of watered down glue in certain sections to acheive the wet look. I was going to try this but i think the head looks totally rediculous.
