I saw what you were going for but you could have achieved this if you just left the shirt on and switched the jacket,

Anyway, great pics. I like them all. Well, scratch that, I like them all except this one,

That is blasphemy. :lol

I didn't get it in 2010, I got it last week so I don't really count it as "best of '10". I will say this though, other figures of 2011 are going to have a hard time beating this one.

Not only is it fantastic, look at the competition so far. Indy? Spider-Man? :lol

THE T-800 TERMINATES THEM ALL.

I would have thought you would at least think Keaton Bat and Joker had a chance?!

A little Tech Noir decal ..........

NICE! You guys all getting me tempted to .... nooo too many Terminators already!!

My parents wouldn't have let me within a mile of this movie. BUT, a friend's parents had no such qualms. I watched this when I was 6 or so, and the eye surgery scene left some serious mental scars.

Good times.

Still, nothing scarred me more than Monty Python's Meaning of Life. Guys, DO NOT let your young children see that one.

remember back in the day when we were doing our best to make bashes of these guys................:lol
we thought ours was the shiz & look what we have today.:)

personally though i had more fun hunting down parts & getting tips & techniques building them than just buying an already complete termie.......(not that there is anything wrong with that)...........just lamenting a bit of how this board used to be.....:peace

Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great, if a sperm is wasted, God gets quite irate.

So. Beautiful.

Thanks Difab. I'm quite fond of this one myself^ I'm pretty sure thats a shooting pose straight from the film when Reese is taking cover behind the bar. I like how huge he looks.

Your pic came up as an error but I see by the title its one of the T1 promo images - what is it, a combination of the tech noir and police shootout looks? Long hair and punk vest with leather jacket?

And OK I apologise for the T4-related shot. Maybe in the T4 John Connor thread it'd be more acceptable.

Loving your group shots. How'd you get that decal?

That's why I like that pic so much.

It's straight from the film, the quick "machine like" movements he has. Though, the "concentration" and surprise faces he makes are pretty emotional for a cyborg.

Nah, I was pulling your chain but you know that.

Oh yeah, I knew I'd seen a pic like that before. Well I don't have any spare punk vests anyhow. Ultimately that figure will be the poster look.

I've worked out that by buying 3 of the eventual Police shootout T-800 (oh yes Hot Toys eventual) I'll be able to donate appropriate pants and boots to that 'poster' figure instead of the crappy SS sarah connor pants and the HT T2 boots I have on it now. It'll also give me the headsculpt I want (I'm assuming it'll come with 2 heads). Its body will go to my Cyberdyne T2 who is currently on a Dutch body. The other 2 purchases of it will be Police Shootout and Final battle-damage (well technically the endoskeleton is the 'final' battle damage but you know what I mean)

Man, I've had DREAMS of a new Hot Toys Police Shootout/Tanker Truck T-800. That ____ NEEDS to happen.

I could live without Reese (even though I REALLY want him) and even Battle Damaged T2 T-800 (want him too).

But please, please, please don't let Hot Toys deprive us of a Police Shootout. It seems like a logical choice. I don't know about you guys, but after having this Tech Noir version, I feel like I NEED the next and final version of Arnold as the T1 T-800.

I'd be so simple too. Same pants, same boots. Just work really hard on mastering a head without an eye, a battle damaged head, new hands and two or three new guns and there you go.

Similar to this version but still new.

NICE! You guys all getting me tempted to .... nooo too many Terminators already!!

C'mon man you KNOW you want this gem!

That just gave me an idea...

Well? Please do share. :wink1:

This picture is awesome. Question, is your police station Terminator using the same body as Tech Noir? He looks a little bulky for some reason.

Its funny, I think because the clothes fit tighter he appears to be bulkier. You're right though, even in person it looks bigger. Exact same body.

oh when I first saw T1 I was 40.......

Jeez Geil, how old are you then?

You're damn right about that, brother. I remember we'd all post in Tay's custom Terminator thread. I like everyone else thought i'd had the very best T1/T2 collection. I had a total of I think 5 custom Termies back then.

Loving your group shots. How'd you get that decal?

Thanks, dev. I just cropped a high res pic from a google search, printed it and cut it out. Nothing complicated.

This is as far as mine got:
