Took some new pics with my Battle Damaged Conversion. The Gargoyles don't fit which is very disappointing. Either then that, the figure looks decent. Upgrading the body would be nice, but at $90, I am not too interested. The weapons and Jacket for the Battle damaged t-800 are excellent. Not enough hands for all the cool guns, so I opened up my second T2 t-800 to hold the mini-gun.

Lets hope a police shoot out arrives some time in the next two years. Not having fitting glasses is a shame.

Awesome pics, Bals. :hi5:

I still really hope they do it, it's the T1 figure I want most.

If not you'd have to give them credit for executing some fantastic suspense. You'd have to be a straight bonehead to NOT release both BD versions from each film. Passing for licensing reasons, fine but opting to not for any other reason is semi-criminal and goofy.

Looks great.
So you just used the standard MMS02 body, huh?
Im thinking of doing the same.
Havent you got some spare T2 glasses to use for now?

I'm glad I kept the BD Endoskeleton at this point. I'd hate to have sold it in anticipation of a upgraded release and be disappointed if it doesn't come to pass. Of course, there is the chance that they will put out a new one and the value of mine will go down the drain in one second flat.:yess:

I do wish they would release a BD version of the T-800 from each movie at least even if they don't make a new Kyle Reese which would be kind of a bummer.

I'm kinda glad I sold mine, I could never justify depriving myself of $700 for something that looked like plastic. So I sold both of mine quite a while ago. IF they do re-release them they'd better chrome the buggers up.

The Standard MMS02 body can work. But be warned, it looks good in very few poses. Also, the head is hovering above the ball joint, otherwise it would look like he has no neck. You need to really flare up the collar of the jacket to hide the gap. I also took a picture with the proper body, though I was missing the cargo style pants, so I used the T2 leather one. It does look better, but not $90 better. Also, and maybe voorhees can confirm this, because the Battle Damaged T1 jacket is so tight on the new t1 muscle body, you have very little movement in the arms, so you can't really get any action poses.

Here is a crappy pic on the muscle body:

Both bodies have their drawbacks, which is why a proper police shootout version is so critical. In the end, I chose saving $90 and having posability. But that may not be the right choice for you.

As for the glasses, my main problem is that their are no ears on the sculpt for the glasses to hang on. The glasses just look weird on this sculpt in my opinion. I would rather have him displayed without.

The chrome would really be cool on the Endo and I can definitely see where you're coming from. I personally do hope they make another one, but I still really like the battle damaged Endoskeleton nonetheless.

For whatever it might fetch me on eBay, my HT Endo is my only Endo in my whole collection so I'm not selling it. If they release and improved one and I miss out on the cash, oh well, I prefer that to selling it and them never doing one and being without an Endo.

I dunno I didn't care much cuz I have an 1/2 scale Endo and (2) 1:1 Endo skulls. No 1/6 figure can outdo them imo. They're not even in comparison but still.

I wish I had the 1/3 Cinemaquette. That's the Endoskeleton I'd really like to have, but with saving and planning on going back to finish school, it's really not in the budget right now.

To me thats the ultimate Endo to get, well if you can't afford the lifesized one that is. If I could have got one for under $2K I would have tried to get one back in the day but they cost way too much now.

Its nice but we would be hammered in customs bull____. Unless you can find one in Canada, which is rough. I only know of one person who has it in the country.
