Got the T-1000 belt earlier last week and figured I'd see how they line up. Scale looks nice, especially considering HT's record, even if the T-1000 is a tad tall maybe. But the T-800's size (bulk) is awesome.
T-1000 overall is the same height as most other figures though, I think the problem is T-800 T1 is too short. They should have given him the T2 T800 pegs as T2 T800 is taller than him. I had spares so once the pegs were in they are now the same height.

T-800 shouldn't be much taller than T-1000.
Spare what? Those extenders? Do you just snap them off the legs and re-glue them to the T1-800?

There is no snapping and gluing involved.
Ah, brilliant. The legs used to have actually extended lengths on them, that's what I thought you were talking about. I don't have a ton of HT so I was unaware of the extended pegs themselves.

Same here.
It was only until someone else in this thread pointed out the fact that the difference in height was caused by the T1 using standard foot pegs, instead of the longer ones that the T2 uses.
Adding height to the T1 makes him even better looking IMO.
Although its not a big problem, its still a shame HTs decided to make him smaller than T2.
I had to fix that.

Police shootout version is a must too, but so is this guy.
You just cant go wrong with this mean looking mother ____er!
In fact, ALL versions of the T-800 from both films are a must have IMO.
I'm very close on closing in all my police shootout parts for that version, these Terminator figures will be the first line that I actually start doubling up on figures.
Exception of all the AVP Predators, I grab those here and there pretty often.

I'll probably go with just the T2 glasses as those gargoyles are liking striking gold on finding those anymore, unless anyone has some leads on those fellas.
I guess you could sculpt those glasses but it never really seems to workout or look the best whenever doing so and the other route is the plastic folder over type which I haven't been happy with in the past with other customs that use that method.
Gargoyles look way too big on the alt. head here, anyway.
Personally, I'm just gonna wait for the official police shoot out version. If Hot Toys doesn't do that, they they can kiss my grits.

I sold a pair of Gargoyles a few days ago on ebay as they are no use to me anymore(too big).
Im probably just going to use the T2 glasses too...although I may use them as a base to sculpt some Gargoyles over.

@MaulFan: Awesome shots bro! Your T1 T-800 pics makes me itchy in getting one too, darn it I've promise myself to pass this line cause the only Terminator movie I like is T2 haha!

diy gargoyles..what do you guys think ? still too big ?
i used the Neca sunglasses for the base..it's not as fragile as the HT ones..
