If they're planning to do the Police shootout figure they will make that head and it wouldn't have made sense to provide it with the Tech noir figure. The fact that they only made MMS136 as an overall package taking us up to the surgery scene is one thing that gives hope for another figure else they would have given us a mish mash of head, outfit and accessories in an attempt to cover, not so thoroughly, the entire film. Same goes for the T2 figure.

Where is it written in stone that they MUST cover every aspect of a film. I feel lucky that we have what we have, but it would be nice if they do make a shootout version. No steel mill T2 Terminator yet, so they would make that version before the T-1 version. I'm not holding my breath, but it is the 20th Anniversary year for T-2 this year... maybe we will get some good news before July. There is still hope!

Awesome photos guys! Especially yours, Sean. Superb.

Here's my custom police station T-800

Great job! Looks amazing!

Closed is film accurrate, just not for the police station. For the shootout, it was open, for the final battle, it was closed.
the m65 vietnam jacket. not leather jacket. well, Terminator_Fan_Game already said it.

* * *

i had to open the chest for some purpose (weakening the up-down movements of one hand), so i decided to take a photo before assembling it back.
somebody might need it one day for repairing or anything else.

rubber chest can be opened as shown and taken off like a t-shirt. insides are pretty similar to HT predator bodies.

* * *

once i thought this face sculpt is not very good. strange, but today i think it's better than all i've seen. maybe because some days ago i'd seen what i had thought as the best previously.

* * *

two versions of punk. too much damage on jacket, but i have a third one and will make it movie correct... once. i postpone it to keep the pleasure for a longer time.

* * *

so here are my three not mentioning the skeleton...
for now. a police version from HT is awaited.

But this is Terminator, not just any film. If they ultimately don't do any of the true battledamaged versions of the T-800 (true BD as in more than just a wounded arm and closed bloodied human eye) I would count that as one of the most bizarre and confounding omissions HT or any toy company could make when dealing with such a toy/collectible-friendly license...wouldn't you? Of course I feel lucky to have what I have but I think their T2/T1 strategy so far leaves hope that HT will indeed cover the second halves of each film eventually aswell. Otherwise we'd have gotten single figures that are an incomplete mish-mash of looks and accessories from throughout an entire film and not the thorough self-contained packages they did give us.

Exactly.

Imma call it now. We're either going to see Police Shootout or T2 Battle Damaged this year. Two Arnold Terminator figures just aren't enough, not when they just obtained this license.

Maybe both if we're lucky, but I doubt it. They seem to have a time frame for these things (example, T2 T-800 shown in January of 2010, T1 T-800 shown in September of 2010).

Hopefully we see either T2 Battle Damaged or T1 Police Shootout this Summer. In fact, how would people feel if we saw spec/pics around July for T2's 20th Anniversary and then, Police Shoot Out next holiday season?

@CyberVillain & CLU: Nice shots guys! I'm really tempted to pick this figure up while I promise to only buy T2 T-800 & T-1000 from Terminator line of HT. Darn it!

Wow really seems like people are getting different face sculpts with their t800s.

I think what your seeing is DIFFERENT LIGHTING . Lighting is a big deal and can change the look of the head sculpt drastically . IMO The photos i see do differ from FREAK to FREAK and i really think its lighting not different sculpts :wave
